Everything begins in winter 2004/2005 from a Sergio’s idea.
He had some old songs he never used before and, with Marco's (Töc) help, he decided to record them for himself, not excluding to develop them further on supported from a band.
Later Stephan joins the band and he doesn't have many troubles to enter the project, taking some interesting ideas with him, but this time for the creation of new pieces.
Soon we decided to form a band and the quest for the name lasted long. At the end we accord ourselves for a name that wouldn’t have directly to do with something musical, rather it should reflect our three’s other common interests.
In summer 2005 finally begins the adventure of LOST EMPIRE.
In Summer 2007, we finally found Nadine, female vocalist. She joined the Band, bringing a good understanding of the genre and in general of music. The feeling in the band growed every time stronger and, in autumn 2007 we decided to take part to a challenge for newcomer bands in Lugano (Palco ai Giovani Winter Session).
For this performance we asked Paul to join us playing the bass, he agreed and made this adventure possible.
Paul found himself by LOST EMPIRE well and he agreed the challenge, already short after the performance at the 2008 Palco ai Giovani's qualifications, to have a fix role in the Band.
With Paul on the bass guitar, we were finally ready to perform live.
In august 2008, we met Jacopo, who took with him a strong will to play his instrument. Töc returned to the bass guitar, his original strument, and Paul went to the guitar.
In Summer 2009, we decided to part from Jacopo for extramusical reasons and Töc returns temporarily at the drums.
In our music, we try to offer original performances; the music is filled with feelings and life experiences and gives therefore special emotions listening to it.

- Stephan "The Keys" : Keyboards
- Nadine "Enxy the Strange" : Lead Vocals
- Paul "The Hammer" : Guitar & Backing Vocals
The musical genre is variegated, from us hardly defined as “Melodic Gothic Metal”. In the proposed songs it’s possible to discover Melodic Gothic, Progressive and Heavy Metal influences, while the lyrics are exclusively in english.
Biografia
Tutto ha inizio nell’inverno 2004/2005 da un'idea di Sergio.
Avendo egli nel cassetto alcune vecchie canzoni mai utilizzate prima, con l’aiuto di Marco (Töc), decide di registrarle per tenerle come ricordo e chissà, magari, per formare una band.
Poco dopo al duo si aggiunge Stephan che non fatica a inserirsi nel progetto portando inoltre degli interessanti spunti per nuove canzoni.
A questo punto nasce la voglia di creare una band e, dopo diverse ricerche, ci si accorda per un nome che non abbia a che fare direttamente con qualcosa di musicale, ma piuttosto che rispecchi altri interessi comuni ai tre.
Nell’estate 2005 ha così inizio l’avventura dei LOST EMPIRE.
Per completare la line up della band mancano ancora alcuni componenti, fra i quali la voce femminile, e nell’estate del 2007 Nadine decide di unirsi al gruppo.
Nadine, oltre ad avere una voce melodica che da un tocco di dolcezza alle canzoni, collabora alla stesura dei testi.
Nell’inverno del 2007 Paul si mette a disposizione provvisoriamente come bassista così da permettere alla band di fare alcuni concerti, fra i quali la partecipazione a "Palco ai Giovani Winter Session".
La collaborazione porta subito dei buoni risultati perciò Paul decide di rimanere definitivamente.
Ultimo tassello mancante è il batterista, ruolo che momentaneamente è svolto da Töc e nell’estate del 2008 facciamo la conoscenza di Jacopo che decide di far parte della band.
Nell'estate del 2009 i LOST EMPIRE decidono di separarsi da Jacopo per motivi extramusicali e così Töc ritorna provvisoriamente alla batteria.
Nella nostra musica cerchiamo di offrire performances originali; la musica é piena di sentimenti ed esperienze tratte dalla nostra vita e dona perciò ascoltandola, delle speciali sensazioni.

Il genere musicale è molto variato, da noi con fatica definito “Melodic Gothic Metal”. Nei brani proposti si possono scoprire infatti delle influenze che hanno radici nel Melodic Gothic, Progressive e Heavy Metal, mentre i testi sono esclusivamente in inglese.
Ciao ragazzi!!!grazie dell'add!!!!le date inizieremo ad organizzarle dal mese prossimo, per cui forse riusciremo a collaborare, ci dovremo risentire più avanti perchè il numero delle band che ci chiede di suonare è molto alto, noi vorremmo far suonare tutti, ma purtroppo non è possibile. Però chissà magari riusciremo ad avere una serata in cui collocarvi!!

UNDERGROUNDATTACK continua a crescere e si presenta con una veste completamente rinnovata e con numerose funzioni implementate per semplificare la navigazione e la ricerca delle informazioni
Sempre più agenzie, etichette discografiche e gruppi ci chiedono supporto e per noi è estremo motivo di orgoglio poter accontentarli.
Proprio in questi giorni lo staff ha aggiornato tutta la parte di amminstrazione, in modo da ottenere uno strumento sempre più versatile che permetta una maggiore rapidità nella pubblicazione di tutti gli articoli. Ad oggi UGA si avvale di uno staff composto da 20 collaboratori, più alcuni free lance, pronti a spolparsi tutto il materiale che passa per le loro mani, ciò ha portato ad una notevole crescita delle recensioni che ora si aggira sulle 30 40 pubblicazioni mensili, più di una al giorno quindi.
CAPITOLO COLLABORAZIONI: Al Momento UGA sta collaborando alcune radio locali e web radio, tra le quali RCCRADIO, RADIO SAPIENZA e RADIO TORVERGATA, (WEbRadio dei due prestigiosi atenei romani), con il passaggio di alcuni pezzi selezionati dal nostro staff tra tutti quelli recensiti.
CAPITOLO CONTEST: UGA ha intenzione di organizzare alcuni contest di varia natura in modo da poter dare maggior supporto e visibilità alle band underground, se foste interessati ad organizzare un contest contattateci a questo indirizzo mail e ci organizzeremo sul da farsi.
