Kitty and Cadbury...two nineteen year old Perthians, living in the distant suburbs... watching "another state of mind" and reading cometbus, decided that Perth needed a punk fanzine. The result is Lost in the Suburbz.

Issue 1 was released in Oct 2007, but issue 2 didn't come out til almost a year later in Nov 2008. Why the delay? The writers were having too much trouble getting their shit together, so Cadbury decided to continue on alone; doing it her way, with some new (Goth Cunt) and some old (Little G & Barclay) contributors. Issue 3 was released in March 2009, with two new writers: NoahSkape and Zero Interest.

We are also putting on gigs under the Lost in the Suburbz name, so befriend us for all the details of when we are putting stuff on.

Lost in the Suburbz has stockists in Perth sorted out. You can buy it at Beat Route records, Chainsaw Horror or from the Lost team. You can still contact us and we should be able to sort something out...We are also very keen to read YOUR fanzine, so if you'd like to swap an issue of your zine for an issue of lost, please get in touch... you don't have to be from Australia either (though it'd be preferable that your zines are in either english or french, coz that is as far as our language capabilities extend.)

So what can you expect from Lost? Well hopefully it'll make you laugh and maybe even make you see the bigger picture.We are a punk lifestyle zine covering Perth life and local Perth bands, so the emphasis is on how we live and those every day things that make life life, rather than who is releasing what CD when or playing which show where. Issue one has rants, artwork, interviews etc.

Alrighty, awesome stuff. 14th of November is cool, got my study break before exams that week. I've never played trumpet in a band before, so it could either go okay or go to complete shit.
Haha oh well yeah, for sure. Where do you guys jam? If I can sort out getting there and back easy, for sure. I'm learning the trumpet. Can play it a bit. Otherwise, I can play the guitar and stuff.
