I WORSHIP David Lynch....everything he has done w/ film and SOUND.... and TWIN PEAKS is my religion w/ Major Garland Briggs as the prophet. I wish we could all go to the school of Werner Herzog or Isadora Duncan's School of Life... Buster Keaton makes my heart ache... Matthew Barney is fascinating... NWA is my punk rock (but I love the Misfits, too.) The Brothers Quay are perfection & Kate Bush, Yoko Ono, Miranda July, Diamanda Galas, Nina Simone, Patti Smith & the queen Tina Turner are the ladies I bow down to..... I was raised on all the 4AD (This Mortal Coil, His Name Is Alive, Cocteau Twins, Throwing Muses, Tarnation, & Birthday Party)....I walk the path of all the Soul, Gospel, and R&B (Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Freddie Scott, Smokey Robinson, Etta James, Staple Singers, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Martha Reeves, Curtis Mayfield, the list goes on...) I love the Smiths (I want Morrisey to be my buddy), I want to have Nick Cave's children, love Nina Hagen, PJ Harvey, the Stooges, Brian Eno, the Cure, Blondie, Alice Cooper, MC5, all the girl groups, Love, Kinks, John Lennon is THE MAN, and the Beatles are good too, etc. etc......and Finally JAZZ! I believe Sun Ra came to save the world, Duke Ellington is the King, Charles Mingus is the rythm in my heart, and Thelonius Monk is the rebel inspiration! Finally, I will fight to the death for free speech, love, peace, & happiness, and am inspired daily by the bravery of the human heart, and all of the unrecognized soldiers for LOVE! I also like when strangers smile at each other.... that is nice.

Strange and serendipitous...a few hours after meeting you, a friend gifted upon me the Twin Peaks box set. A random gesture as I had never before voiced my silent appreciation of the series. I cringe every time I hear someone refer to Lost as this generations Twin Peaks.
It was indeed a pleasure to meet you as well! I'm quite sure we'll be running into each other in the near future!
