Lost Luna was born around 1998, I think, when I started writing songs on my own, but didn't find band mates right away. Lost Luna is still a fun creative outlet so this one-grrrl-noise project continues...
This is what I do:
-studied women's studies, visual/graphic/illustration art and cultural studies (and like to consider myself a life-long DIY-student now)
-make comics, collages, textile art, illustrations, drawings
-draw punky portraits on art fairs or on request.
-write zines and DIY comic books.
-make craft: crocheting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, dolls, bags, clothes, accessoires/jewelry, patches, etc. I like art actions and craft activism. yeah, watch out for the grrrls with knitting needles!
-write + read about feminism, queer theory, activism, music, subculture, DIY, anarchism, craft, art, riot grrrl,...
-write, play and record music as Lost Luna. I do not intend to perform live as Lost Luna (at this moment). I used to play guitar in D-Konstruxie. Now I'm in a new, for now nameless, band.
-the Riot Grrrl Collectiefdoes actions, makes zines, organises exhibitions, gives workshops, takes over your town...
-put out zines and tapes with my DIY project Echo.
-I like to travel and I enjoy taking part in exhibitions, especially at DIY events such as Ladyfest.
bedankt voor je supportive comment op mijn andrea dworkin post, ik kwam op de lange wapper vergadering vorig jaar een paar meisjes tegen van een feministisch kollectief uit gent die daar stickers uitdeelden. de hexennacht vind ik een fantastisch initiatief, wist er pas achteraf van, maar wou dit toch steunen en heb het daarom o.a. op m'n myspace gepost. ik heb een los contact met een leesgroep in antwerpen, ken ook wel poppesnor, maar weet niet goed waar ik die moet plaatsen. erg veel antwerps initiatief is er blijkbaar niet, spijtig genoeg. de scene is ook erg verdeeld geraakt, wat een serieuze handicap is. ik situeer mij in de anarcha sfeer met toch ook wel radicale sympathieën. ik ga heel zeker je links eens bekijken, en je art e.d.! groetjes, poepoes
