All time favorite is U2! Keith Urban, 30 Seconds to Mars, classic rock (The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc), NIN, Beck, Bowie, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Weezer, 80's hair metal like Poison, country, Beatles, John Lennon and every once in awhile I'll listen to classical (I love listening to Chopin) or I'll put Sinatra on, Norah Jones, etc. some of the 70's & 80's R&B, oldies. Pretty much anything but rap, well with the exception of Kanye West.
Movies
One of my newest favorites is "Into The Wild" with Emile Hirsch. Just a beautiful, inspiring, poetic movie.
The Notebook (easily one of the most romantic movies..EVER followed by The Lake House), Shawshank Redemption, The Gift, The Crow, LOTR Trilogy, Rebel Without A Cause, Giant, The Doors, Goodfellas, House of A Thousand Corpses, Devil's Rejects, Seven, Braveheart, Tombstone, Young Guns, American Pie I & II, The Scream movies, Office Space, Clerks I & II, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Streetcar Named Desire, Salton Sea, Annie Hall, The Graduate, Great Expectations, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Chicago, True Romance, Princess Bride, Mr Roberts, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolia, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates (Drew and Adam are adorable together), The Goonies, Say Anything, Breakfast Club, etc. (any John Hughes movie) really the list is endless.
Television
The best show to EVER air on television...LOST! Californication, The Office, The Tudors, Entourage, Project Runway, South Park, My Name is Earl, Two and a Half Men! Any Joss Whedon show. The man is a genius. Love how he combines drama with such wit and humor. I also love the History, Discovery and Travel Channels (what I wouldn't give to be a Travel Journalist). I love television that either makes you laugh, informs or generally gets you thinking. I don't care too much for reality tv.
Books
Currently reading "The Spiritual Teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi". One of my all time favorite fictional books is The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Very memorable and intriguing characters, one that I have read over and over again without tiring of. "The House of Spirits" by Isabelle Allende, "The Thornbirds" Colleen McCullough. Too many to list them all.
Heroes
Anyone who puts themselves out there to help others less fortunate and in need (be it humans or animals). Also my father and mother in law! I have never met two people who are so generous and self sacrificing for their family as they are!
