About me: Lostmelody ( Awazi Win ): is a traditional Kurdish Music band established on 30/09/2006 in Manchester. A group of talented musicians from all parts of Kurdistan and live in exile. Since their establishment they have performed in various cities of the UK mainly in North West. Their passionate for music make them to work very hard to gather together as they all live in different cities and do another job to make living.
The main aim of their work as a musician is to preserve the traditional Kurdish music and bring life again to a lot of lost melodies which are about to be forgotten. Also through their music they wish to explain and pass a message to the world that Kurds are a nation and have a very rich culture and history. They sing and play for Kurdistan, freedom, love, unity, passion, equality, peace, humanity etc.
