The two friends met the first time in 2003 when they founded an artcommunity. It didn't take long until they found out about their same interests in creating dark and sad atmospheres with music. They made some extraordinary songs and played a few gigs but didn't find the right audience for their acoustic visions. Then somehow paths divided.
It was in 2009 when they called up each other again and the longer they talked the more they realized that they couldn't get these songs out their minds. Blind understanding and the same taste in sounds, lyrics and melodies made them aware of the fact that such kind of musical collaborations maybe happen once in a lifetime. My Mind's Eye may never find the right audience but it just doesn't matter anymore. Holding on to their vision is the only thing that counts.

Stefan Briel is a Singer and Songwriter wanting to explore his limits. With a strong affinity to sad and harmonic melodies and always trying to avoid lyrical clichees he was nominated for Best Male Vocal at the 2005 International Online Music Awards and finally awarded in 2006. My Mind's Eye made it on the international release "A Tribute To Elliott Smith" along with artists from the US, the UK, France and Japan.
Hallo, diese Woche führt uns für zwei Konzerte nach Hessen. Am Donnerstag, dem 10.6. spielen wir in Marburg (Schlucke), am 11.6. in Gießen (Café Amelie).
