bio: lost room is a one-woman band consisting of sarah k., who hails from the northern part of sweden where winters are long, cold and dark, and summers short, mild and bright. this musical project unofficially started almost two years ago, but really began to take shape in 2008. sometimes friends from all over (iceland, italy, the US and sweden) contribute with certain instruments or vocals, whereas sarah k. continues to compose and record her songs at home. in june 2009, lost room relocated to london, but the base and foundation of inspiration will always be derived from the northern parts of sweden, where she was taught as a child to believe in fairytales, and all the mysterious wonders of deep woods and singing creeks.
