General
Love the art of Brom and Joseph Vargo. Any genre of music except Country which is limited to a rare few! Cooking, antiques, traveling, sewing and photography and graphic design. Love to create gothic, victorian and medieval clothing! I collect signed novels and anything to do with the Ancient Egyptians among way too much other stuff...lol! And of course a hella movie fanatic!

Omigawd! Wicked too many to list as I grew up in San Francisco during the 60's and practically lived at Fillmore West. I have very varied musical tastes from ambient to death metal but here is a short list: Pink Floyd (Roger Water's is a genius), Dir en Grey, Bowie, Nox Arcana, Him, Moonspell, Therion, Deftones, Velvet Revolver, Duran Duran, James Taylor, Eminem, Snoop, Tupac, Stones, Cream, Winwood, Doors, Beatles, Robert Cray and so on and so forth!
Movies
I watch and collect wicked too many movies....from action, drama, fantasy/sci-fi and horror to comedy. Any movie with Jet Li in it, I'm surely going to watch it over and over again. I admire him and his work...he's an awesome artist and honestly, my favorite! Although I am not much for the romantic type movies. The more things that get blown up or disasterous, the better! I really love the horror flicks that scare the crap outta ya! And thank gawd for CGI and special FX...I would name the movies but honestly I know I would forget some and this page would scroll to eternity if I started naming them!
Television
Honestly, I don't watch too much television except for the Sci-Fi channel, Discovery and History channels...and of course the premium movie channels. Mainly because I seem to buy every DVD that is released..lol!
Books
I collect signed 1st edition novels and I have a ton of favorite authors: Stephen King, Stephen Donaldson, Tolkien, Anne Rice, GP Taylor, JK Rowling, Eoin Colfer, Ludlum, Clancy, Tom Holland, Whitley Striber, Charlene Harris and tons others!
Heroes
Ah yes...hero's! Basically anyone that stands up for their beliefs, lifestyles and what is right in the world. Takes guts to do that especially if one is out of the norm so to speak. Its always great to see one stand up for their individuality! People that devote their life to make other's life better such as doctors and researchers trying to help rid the world of disease and famine. Also those that support those that try to make the world a better place and I do not mean politicians by any means, way, shape or form! The entertainers that give up so much of their life and privacy in order for the rest of us to be swept away while watching a good movie, reading a awesome novel or listening to a tune that whisks us all away to another realm and helps us forget the stress and life in general for those moments!
Plus, the men and women who risk their lives daily to help those in need-Firefighters!!!

About me:
Oh my, where shall I begin here? I am an avid follower of the Ancient beliefs and history. One can never learn enough on what has transpired in the past and I believe it helps us to understand the future as well. I'm a tad on the wild side in the sense that I want to see it all and experience all that life has to offer with its ups and downs or whatever it throws in my path. I have 2 grown daughters that I'm extremely proud of and a circle of friends that are very dear to me. One never knows what I'll say next as sometimes I am quiet, then at other times I'm off the wall with my comments and humor. I write, do graphic design, sew, cook up a storm, especially in winter when a good snowstorm is out and about. I am eclectic in my beliefs but also love to study other beliefs as well. One can never attain too much knowledge. I love anything Medieval or Victorian...Ancient histories and beliefs, Egyptian, Asian, Celtic, Druids, Vampires, Witchs and much more!I am interested in gravestone rubbing's too as there's some really wicked awesome old stones and cemeteries around New England that makes some really interesting art. I like anything of a historical nature and even a walk through the woods during a blinding snowstorm is good for the soul. I believe it can heal and mend many old wounds in life to just sit back and let nature awe your with its beauty and grace. Even at times negative situations have a positive outcome. Guess that's my outlook on life in a nutshell.

Who I'd like to meet:
Interesting people that like to have intelligent conversations on a variety of subjects. So many people to meet and so little time this time around. Anyone with a good sense of humor is quite admirable too as humor frees the soul from the daily grind! But if I honestly had to pick, here are my choices: God-boy do I have some questions for her or him and if that person truly exists, Imhotep-to see just how he came up with building the pyramids. Rameses-Just to see what he was really like, Poe-Would love to pick his brain so to speak, John Adams-whom of which was one of my many time Great Uncles, and others such as Alexander, Caesar, Cleopatra, Ghengis Khan, Vladimir Tsepes and some of the great people and historians of the past!
Last but not least, I would be in heaven if I met Jet Li...he's poetry in motion and my favorite actor!
