Christopher "Daddy" Kempfer is the Phoenix-born, Midwest-raised rapper-producer, that heard his calling in life at the age of 14 when he started telling people that he wanted to rap. Being so many obstacles in life to get through (personal and public), he put his rap career on pause and started slaving away on the computer and instruments to make the perfect beat. Cranking that kick up, making those hi-hats more vivid, and a melody to suit anybody's mood. Through creative means, Daddy has produced hundreds of beats within the past 4 year. From then to now, people have witnessed his evolution in music and the list in the Lost Soul catalog is only getting longer by the day. "Grind 2 Shine" (2007) is one of the newest songs I've made recently. The bottom-line is: you've got to grind to shine. "Pop On A Pole" (2006) is more-or-less my Strippper Club Anthem. "Make It Thru" (2006) is just taking a look at myself in a different perspective. Back then, I wasn't doing too well, but still I stayed optimistic. The rough times; me walking away from the game to gain some clarity landed me in my car sleeping the backseat, begging for crumbs, forcing me to learn how to survive. Hope you like it.
