Gli Astarte Syriaca nascono nel 2003 con l’intento di proporre un sound prog-metal innovativo ed eclettico. La band si esibisce live in alcuni dei più famosi locali romani (Alpheus, Cube) e partecipa agli eventi organizzati dal Comune della Capitale (Roma 70 Live). Le sonorità della band si caratterizzano subito per il loro stile metal-progressive a cui Gabriele Valerio, già batterista dei Théâtres des Vampires, dà un valido contributo per il periodo in cui collaborerà con la band.
Nel 2004 la registrazione del promo “Astarte Syriaca” viene affidata al 16th Cellar Studios di Roma. La Kick Agency, che rappresenta alcune delle band più in vista dell’underground nazionale, cura la diffusione del promo attraverso radio, riviste specializzate, web magazines.

Nel 2005 gli Astarte Syriaca insieme ai “Moonlight Comedy” e ai “The Fifth Season” partecipano al più importante evento prog della capitale: la “Killer Prog Night”. Viene girato il primo videoclip tratto dal singolo “Winged Horses” (regia di Riccardo Ponis) e la band è successivamente ingaggiata per un concerto nel noto locale “Stazione Birra”, scelto da numerose star italiane e internazionali per i loro live a Roma.
Durante la preparazione del live, la band comincia ad architettare un nuovo genere di spettacolo in cui la musica sia inserita in un contesto pluri-artistico di teatro, pittura, fotografia e design grafico.
L’idea è quella di proporre una sorta di spettacolo che conduca lo spettatore dentro la musica stessa, per mezzo di una vera e propria scenografia. Lo staff di Stazione Birra si dimostra molto disponibile e l’ingresso del locale viene adibito a mostra di dipinti di autori vari, in sala sono presenti due videoproiettori e la recitazione delle poesie viene affidata a Barbara Alesse, mentre Georgia Tribuiani, Senior Designer presso la Fox International, si occupa degli effetti video e della coordinazione delle luci.
Il video “Winged Horses” vanta numerosi passaggi su canali televisivi italiani, esteri e satellitari.
Nel 2006 lo spettacolo pluri-artistico viene replicato sempre a Stazione Birra, dove gli Astarte Syriaca suoneranno anche come supporter di uno storico gruppo progressive degli anni ’70, i “Metamorfosi”. Nello stesso anno, la band partecipa al Dream Wave Contest, aggiudicandosi il primo posto nel Lazio e il terzo a livello nazionale. Terzo posto anche per il Woodstock in Sabina, poi la selezione per San Remo Rock. Questi concorsi, che portano la band a suonare in locali di tutta Italia, fanno sì che la Alkemist Fanatix Europe, management europeo, noti questo gruppo ormai non più emergente e decida di rappresentarlo come A&R, Promotion Management e Booking Office.
Nel 2007, gli Astarte Syriaca iniziano a incidere il loro primo cd “Darkened Light”. Attraverso una serie di concerti in cui si è deciso di proporre delle cover tratte dal “Jesus Christ Superstar”, prende vita il progetto del “Jesus Christ Superstar – Opera Prog” dove il desiderio di realizzare uno spettacolo in cui la componente musicale trovi un suo ampliamento in un allestimento teatrale, raggiunge la sua forma ideale, quella del “concerto – spettacolo”. Con questo nuovo genere, gli Astarte Syriaca debuttano e replicano a “Stazione Birra”, per poi trasferirsi sul palco del Teatro Viganò di Roma.
Nel 2008, gli Astarte Syriaca si cimentano nella scrittura della colonna sonora della pellicola “Green”, diretta da Carlo Fineschi, con Alessio di Clemente e Marco Venienti. Continua l’avventura del Jesus sui palchi di tutta Italia.
Il 17 e il 22 marzo gli Astarte Syriaca insieme alla regista Barbara Alesse e al cast del Jesus saranno ospiti della trasmissione “Password” in onda su Gold TV e Roma Sat.
Astarte Syriaca are born in 2003 with the intention to propose an innovative and eclectic prog-metal sound. The band plays live in some of the most famous roman clubs (Cube, Alpheus) and takes part of some events organized by the municipality (Roma 70 Live). The sound of the band is characterized by a metal-progressive style and the drummer Gabriele Valerio (Theatres des Vampires) gives it his good contribution for the time when he collaborates with the band.
In 2004 the recording of promo-cd "Astarte Syriaca" is committed to "16th Cellar Studios" in Rome. "Kick Promotion Agency", which represents some of the national underground most in sight bands, takes care of the promo diffusion by radios, music magazines and web magazines.

"The roman combo introduces into its musical substratum some of the progressive influences connected to the 70's. In 2005 Astarte Syriaca, togheter with "Moonlight Comedy" and "The Fifth Season", takes part of the most important progressive event in Rome: the "Killer Prog Night". Their first videoclip based on the single release "Winged Horses" is filmed by Riccardo Ponis and the band is later engaged for a gig in the famous club "Stazione Birra", chosen by numerous italian and international rock stars for their shows in Rome.
During the reharsals for the gig the band begins to plan a new kind of show in which the music is fitted in a multi-artistic context made of theatre, painting, photography and grafic design.
The idea is about to propose a kind of show that guide the audience into the music itself, by means of a real stage designing. Stazione Birra staff proves to be available and the club entrance is used as a painting exhibition of various artists, in the hall there are two projectors and the poetry recitation is commited to Barbara Alesse while Georgia Tribuiani, Senior Designer close to Fox International, deals with video fx and lights coordination.
"Winged Horses" videoclip boasts numerous broadcastings on italian, international and satellite tv channels.
In 2006 the multi-artistic show is repeated at "Stazione Birra" where Astarte Syriaca play also as support of a historical band of the 70's: "Metamorfosi". In the same year, the band takes part of the "Dream Wave Contest" winning the first regional place and the third national place. Third Place also for the "Woodstock in Sabina Festival", then the selection for "Sanremo Rock". Thanks to these competitions, which bring Astarte to play all over the national ground, Alkemist Fanatix Europe, notices this now no more up-and-coming band and decides to represent it as A&R, Promotion Manager and Booking Office.
In 2007, Astarte Syriaca begin to record their first LP called "Darkened Light".
Through a succession of live performances in which they decide to make an extract of "Jesus Christ Superstar", grows up the "Jesus Christ Superstar - Opera Prog" project where the desire to realize a show in which the musical component found its widening in a theatrical staging, reaches its ideal shape: the "concert-show". With this new genre, Astarte Syriaca debut and repeat at Stazione Birra and then they move to "Vigano' Theatre" in Rome.
In 2008, Astarte Syriaca write the sound track of "Green" a film written and directed by Carlo Fineschi, with Alessio di Clemente and Marco Venienti. The adventure of Jesus Prog continue on the stages all over Italy.
On 17th and 22nd of March Astarte Syriaca togheter with the director Barbara Alesse and the cast of Jesus Prog will be guests of the programme "Password" on Gold TV, lazio Channel and Roma Sat

Il progetto DISCLOSE nacque nel settembre 2004 a Modena.
Lo scopo fu, fin da subito, comporre brani propri unendo i generi musicali da cui ogni componente proveniva: progressive metal, nu:metal, grunge, hard rock.
Nel marzo 2005 i Disclose produrono il loro primo EP contenente 4 brani e recensito da varie riviste del settore.
Dopo tante esibizioni live collezionate negli anni e un periodo di mutamenti di line-up, finalmente nel Maggio 2007, grazie a un anno di lavoro in studio, viene dato alla luce il primo album ufficiale, contenente 10 brani, intitolato “Eclipsed Vision”.
Grazie al grande contributo di Alkemist Fanatix, nel Febbraio 2008 i Disclose vennero contattati dalla Lost Sound Records, con cui hanno firmato il contratto per la pubblicazione dell’album.
The project DISCLOSE was born in September 2004 in Modena (Italy).
The intention was from the beginning to compose original songs blending music styles like progressive metal, nu:metal, grunge and hard rock.
In March 2005 Disclose produced their first EP, containing 4 songs, which was reviewed by various magazines.

NAVARRO BIO
Max Philip Navarro nasce il 9 Maggio 1982 da padre canadese e madre italiana.
Trasferitosi in tenera età nel pordenonese a causa del lavoro del padre presso la base Nato di Aviano (PN), e cresciuto in questa piccola enclave statunitense sul territorio italiano, vive a stretto contatto con la cultura nord americana rimanendone affascinato e contaminato.
All’età di 8 anni inizia lo studio della chitarra classica, ma teorie e solfeggi non fanno per lui e abbandona dopo un anno.
Tra i 9 e i 14 anni si appassiona al rock americano ascoltando artisti quali Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Tom Petty e Neil Young.
Nel 1997 rispolvera i vecchi metodi per chitarra e comincia lo studio dello strumento da autodidatta. Contemporaneamente inizia a prendere lezioni di canto.
Dopo aver cantato per diverse cover band della provincia, fonda nel settembre 2002 i Navarro con l’amico chitarrista Nick Mayer (1982). Entrano nella band il bassista Simon Johnson, il batterista Chris Evans e il chitarrista Douglas Morrison.
Nel 2005 viene ultimato il primo ep autoprodotto “Parallel Lines”,il cui singolo “Wish” viene notato dal discografico americano Samuel Torresani che provvede ad inserirli nel prestigioso sito www.rateyourmusic.com , designandoli come eredi di Bryan Adams e Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Ma di lì a poco la band si sfalda.
Nel 2006 vengono reclutati il chitarrista John Paul Bellucci (1985), il bassista Jack Novell (1982 - endorser Baselli bassi), e il batterista Simon Moore (1989 - endorser Drum Sound). La rinnovata line up produce una nuova canzone “Cold Night Love Affair”, che viene scelta come colonna sonora del beauty contest internazionale Lady Of Universe. La stessa canzone a fine anno vince il concorso indetto da radio LSDNetwork.
Visti i buoni risultati nel marzo 2007 la band si chiude in studio di registrazione; a giugno esce il primo album “Branded On My Skin” prodotto da Nick Mayer e Max Navarro. L’album, e in particolare il singolo “Cold Night Love Affair”, piace alle radio locali e viene notato da Radio Capodistria (2° radio nazionale slovena) che invita la band a presentarlo in diretta nazionale il 3 luglio.
Intanto la band intraprende un tour promozionale nell’Europa centrale, con 30 concerti tra Italia, Austria, Germania, Svizzera, Ungheria, Slovenia, Liechtenstein, Rep.Ceca, Slovacchia e Croazia.
May, 1982 - Max Philip Navarro was born in 1982 in a
middle class family of Vancouver Island in West
Canada. Since he was a child he was very fond of
American rock: Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams,
Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Italian rockers
Luciano Ligabue and Luigi Schiavone were his favourite
ones.
1997 / 1999 - At liceo in Pordenone he became singer
of some cover bands, and started writing his own songs
since he was 16. In this period he wrote songs as
Wish, Angel, Blame It On Love and Torquemada.
2000 / 2002 – He found a band called AX, but members
were too heterogeneous as music preferences, so the
band broke up in a couple of years.
May – September, 2002 – Max threw his last concert
with AX: on that stage he met Spike Moods’ guitar,
Nick Mayer who listened to Max’s songs and believed in
his talent. In September The Stone Flowers were
founded: Max P. Navarro (vocals), Nick Mayer
(guitars), Simon Johnson (bass), Andrè Morin
(keyboards) and Gene Storm (drums).
March, 2005 – The band changed his name to Navarro and
realized an EP called “Parallel Lines” which included
four songs: Torquemada, Get Away, Stardust (written by
Nick), and especially Wish. As “Wish” became a little
hit Navarro were esteemed as one of the most promising
bands of american heartland rock by italo american
music journalist Samuel Torresani. In Parallel Lines,
Max described a generation who lost old values, and
found new idols in money, conformism and hypocrisy,
without any believing in true love and honor.
November, 2005 – Morin and Storm left the band to try
a cinema career; Max recruited guitarist Douglas
Morrison and drummer Chris Evans but after some months
they quit the band joining Kid Weird. Also Simon
Johnson quit in December.
July, 2006 – Guitarist John Paul Bellucci joined
Navarro, followed by his friend and bassist Jack
Novell and young drummer Simon Moore.
March, 2007 – At Cage Studios Navarro cut their first
full album “Branded On My Skin”, entirely written by
Max, and produced by Nick Mayer and Max Navarro. With
its nine new songs “Branded On My Skin” is more
melodic than “Parallel Lines” but also marked by a
stronger guitar sound. First single, Cold Night Love
Affair, has been chosen as theme song of the
international beauty pageant Lady Of Universe and won
several music contests.
April 2008 - Navarro signed by new rock label Lost
Sounds Records.
June 11th , 2008 – Navarro’s first album “Branded On
My Skin” in stores!
Future projects –Two parallel ones: they’re working on
new songs for their second album, that probably will
be realized next spring; then they are working on a
new cut of their first ep “Parallel Lines”, that will
be re-arranged and recorded again with this new
line-up. This new version of “Parallel Lines” will be
available before the end of 2008.
GABRIELE BELLINI BIO
“I was 11 years old when I embraced my first guitar …” For the next ten years I studied the guitar by myself, also sharing my time between school and a job as a craftsman. At the age of 15 my first band was founded, while my first real band, the Exodus, was born when I was 20 years old: many covers and a lot of experimentation. But it’s with the Hyaena that I had the greatest satisfaction of my musical career: 2 vinyl LP’s and 3 CD co-produced with some of the famous independent labels of the 90’s. With this band we had optimal critics from newspapers like Rockerilla, HM, Flash and others, good sales of albums, the first fan club and several sold-out concerts. Still today, surfing the internet, I find some memorabilia of successful Hyaena LP’s!
After that came the period of Ammagamma and the Ritmenia Zoo (former Hyaena members - Rinf and Elettrogeno), and a lot of experimentation (Arezzo Wave, Ciampi Prize, Production with Antonio Aiazzi, former pianist of Litfiba). Artelettrica (in close collaboration with Giacomo Jac Salani) was formed as a first approach towards soundtracks.
More recently I played with Dynamo, definite rock-sound and great lesson of life, and Andrea Agresti, friend and eclectic artist, with who I share insanity, fun and satisfaction (1 album, 2 singles, and television jingles).
In 2006 appeared my first solo album P.A.S.E.: I took my advance of a collaboration with various singers and musicians, many of which have been my companions of adventure. My intention was to entrust to anyone of them a part of this project, and it has not been easy to amalgamate such a many ways of living music. However, I believe that I managed to create a structure to a miscellaneous album and not just an album of loose pieces. The press reviews have received the album with very fine critics.
In the same year 2006, very intense year from productive point of view, stands out a new contract with RAITRADE/VIDEORADIO for the production of a compilation “the Ethno Electric & Ambient”; the collaboration for a new masterdemo of the Shining Fury (band with already 2 albums with the international label “Metal Blade”); the publication (LMRecords) of the mythical MasterDemo87 of the Hyaena’s “Metamorphosis”.
In 2007 started a new live tour: the G.B. BAND PROJECT (360 degrees of Rock, Jam session experiences, strong Rock vibrations and sparkling acoustic movements), opening concert May 4th at Florence in the “Sintetika Live Club”. By the end of the same year LMRecords published “Progressivamente 1990-95”, the official best of the Hyaena. Moreover, thanks to a collaboration with Alkemist Fanatix Europe, I signed a contract with Lost Sound Records/Self, for my second solo album: “De Revolutionibus Orbium Celestum”. It will be an almost completely instrumental album, very rich of surprises, and a natural creative evolution of P.A.S.E..
In 2008 will also appear: the new disc of Andrea Agresti (with lots of my guitar- and bass arrangements) and another production, as art director, of Almasfera (the second one, after their first album in 2006), an innovative and strong impact masterdemo with new recording techniques.
Many other suggestive and important collaborations are currently under construction … Besides to compose, to arrange, to write and to produce, I offer bands my collaboration as art director in the recording studio, and I’m offering courses in which I teach guitar (primary instrument) and electric bass-guitar.
NO MORE FEAR BIO
No More Fear, death metal band from Abruzzo (Italy), born in 1996...in the beginning the four members are: Gianluca Orsini (Drums/Voclas), Davide Rosati (Bass), Panfilo Carracini (Guitar), Fulvio Cellini (Guitar). Unfortunately, the lack of a true singer limits remarkablly the compositions. On November 1997 Gianluca Peluso join the band as lead vocalist. Since that moment No More Fear begin to create new songs trying to mix the thrash sound of the beginnings with death metal elements introduced by the new member. On June 1998 new songs are born, wich will be recorded afterwards, for the first time in studio, giving life to "Shouts of War", the first demo-tape. Not long after the demo was out, No More Fear send out the guitarist Fulvio Cellini, owing to musical divergences. Massimo Peluso takes his place at the guitars. After a promo cd released in 1999, featuring two new songs, "The Strange thin in tunnel" and "Obituary", No More Fear finally give life to their first official album in 2000, called "Vision of Irrationality"; the album features 9 tracks, produced by "Video Radio"and distributed by "Fonola Dischi". Really, all this never happened ,so the band decides to rescind the contract with the label. On May 2000, cause of personal reasons, guitarist Panfilo Carracini leaves the band. After several audictions Alessandro Montoneri, long time friend of No More Fear, join the band at the guitar. Many live shows follow in clubs as Transilvania (Civitanova Marche), Kreis (Pescara), First Floor (Montesilvano), Bombardier (Roma), The Cube (Cagliari)...and so on with Lecce, Bari, Teramo, Avezzano (AQ) and others clubs all around Abruzzo. On April 2004 the band realizes a new work, a split cd with Sin Driven Tide, published by INDELIRIUM Records. The cd contains 4 new songs by NMF, wich denotes a musical evolution compared with the previous "Vision of Irrationality". On March 2006, at the ACME Studios in Raiano (AQ) and at THE OUTER STUDIOS in Rome, the new album’s recording began. But in the november of the same year, the bass player, Davide Rosati ,historical band former, quit for personal reason the band. He has been replaced by Armando Sborgia (Silentree) until the summer 2007, then definitively replaced by Fahd Lafrikh. On january 2008, No More Fear (with Alkemist Fanatix collaboration ) signed a contract with Lost Sound Records. Thanks to this agreement, on march 2008, their new cd “Ethnoprison” will be in stores.

SNP BIO
S.N.P. (acronym for the italian expression "Stato Nervoso Precario") formed back in 1990. After three long years spent on searching a personal style, the band released their selfproduced debut-EP in 1993; the record called "All Is An Endless Nothing... Empty Words, Empty Promises", really rooted into the classic '80s Thrash Metal in the vein of Metallica and Pantera, helps spreading widely the name of the band and it sells more than 1500 copies. One year later S.N.P. joins the compilation "Nightpieces III" (Dracma Records) with an unreleased song called "Confusion". The music becomes more aggressive and the endless storming live-shows make the band one of the more promising of the italian extreme Metal scene. In 1996 the full-length debut-album "Excess" is finally out on Last Scream Records: 10 songs full of powerful anger and melodic aggression that push S.N.P. really high in the favours of the italian Metal-kids. The four guys start their long "happy to hate" live-tour playing all over Italy and making a lot of new fans with their kick-ass adrenalinic live-shows. Under the big pressure of their fans for new material, the band releases in 1998 "For Fans Only", really nice home-video featuring 40+ minutes of the band captured live and private with the addition of 3 video-clips of songs contained in the "Excess" Cd. In 1999 it's the time for the new 3-songs single "Negazione", musically violent and aggressive as never before, a mix between Hard-core and Modern Metal. In 2000 S.N.P. have been chosen to join the Metallica Tribute-album "Phantom Lords" (released by Adrenaline Records) with the track "The Thing That Should Not Be". 2003-2004: a new record-deal have been signed with I-NU-MAN Records, the new subdivision of Adrenaline Records focused on the Nu Metal-Thrash sound. The brilliant result is the new album "Scarface": 14 songs of nu-thrash metal…. Energy, power, passion,aggression!
