    Long Live The New Blood!

    LOST may be the most lasting and successful of the 1970s fringe theatre experiments . . .

    The emphasis was, and always will be on YOUTH THEATRE. Most important. A youth theatre growing amorphously through a constant stream of productions - one a month. Invaluable for one's chops. Very important.

    The annual One Act Festival (the starting point for our production of Joe Orton's Up Against It in 1985 at LOST - it's World Premiere, in fact) is more now important than ever before. Where else would've we got an opportunity like that. Where else today . . .

    A minor endeavour of previous LOST reps was to maintain parity with 'waves' and 'revolutions' in alternative/independent music - to speak more succinctly of its emotions and passions. It may be time to meet the challenge again.

    Therefore, I would like to wish the current rep the very best for it's future productions and endeavours.
