In our present environment, filled with what most consider noise pollution, we have adopted a different view. Fritch is primarily known as a composer for film and as the instrumentalist/ arranger for the experimental electronic/ post-rock/ rap group Sole and the Skyrider Band. With this project he has created cinematic compositions that are tactile and linear, but are driven by pulsing, visceral rhythms akin to those of electronica and hip-hop. .. A self-taught player of over 30 instruments, he approaches classical composition and traditional music forms not with scholarly intention, but rather with the curiosity and impulsiveness of childlike fascination.
