Blackbeard's Lost Weekender is a filthy, primal garage rock festival of the lowest and most repugnant order says I. we'll take on anyone we deem worthy. n' by worthy i mean pirates among musicians.
BBLW started four long years ago and was originally dubbed: the Freaky Tiki. later we decided to honor north carolina's greatest historical figure, scum of the earth, Edward Teach, Blackbeard. a horrendous documentary of BBLW's second year was produced and is available on dvd. bands/fiends on it include: dexter romweber, the spinns (my old band that started the whole thing), maximus, coffin bound, the pernicious kniffs, and many more swingin', eastern groups. Blackbeard's Lost Weekender '07 happens fri. Oct. 26, thurs 26 and sat the 27th.

I have been busy on tour with Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band and haven't had a chance to tell you about my new record! It's called "Bad Little Kitty" and it came out back in July. Cool, I finally get to pop someone's comment cherry. So I'm gonna try to talk to Mouse sometime this week about this whole obscurity thing. I also came with an idea that might help. We could play alot of international stuff that's not owned by BMI or ASCAP.
