LOST WEEKEND
Lost Weekend have been together for 15 years. They are made up of musicians who over the last 25 years have rocked the stages of Britain, Europe indeed the world.
With the resurgence in guitar based music the band have been in huge demand, indeed they have been invited as special guests to perform along side the likes of gotthard, TnT, Dokken, magnum, Saxon, wishbone ash, Jeff scot Soto and winger etc, in fact the list reads like a who’s who of rock.
With four albums on sale around the world the band goes from strength to strength,
It was around the release of there third opus New Religion that legendary magnum vocalist bob catley invited the band to support him on his solo tour of Britain and Europe for which the band again impressed from the start, this resulted in the band being asked to write Bob Catleys next solo album Spirit Of Man.
The album as received worldwide critical acclaim, once again the band was invited on a tour with Catley.
November 2006 has seen the release of the bands fourth album the acclaimed forever Moving On, 2007 as been a year spent promoting the latest album with appearances at some of England’s premier rock festivals to great effect.
With a slight change in personnel the band are now a twin guitar based band resulting in a heavier sound more akin to the likes of the scorpions, ufo and thunder to name a few, and with the band nearing the end of writing there fifth album hopefully to be released later in the year there is a buzz in the industry that Lost Weekend may just go all the way.
If you have not seen this band live with there current line-up you have not seen this band at all, with heavy guitar laden riffs, power vocals and killer melodies this band has to perform !

The Works gig was fantastic boys - congrats on a nice tight set. We liked Jack's minimalist set (we'd like to see less of Jack in the future :-)). Ellis was a triumph - well done to Paul & Dave - and well deserving of the standing ovation. Nice One! See you in November!

Well guys... what a crackin' show, the set list was perfection ;o) I love the new material...!!! Thank you to everyone who contributed to a fantastic night at the Idle Firestation(Bradford). Lost Weekend and support band The Grimshaw's helped raise money £1,500.00 for ward15 at the local hospital... well done!
