It’s been impossible to ignore Lot 55 in their home city in the past year.
Armed with an arsenal of punchy, yet infectiously melodic and
uplifting indie rock anthems, and backed by a formidable live reputation the
Norwich-based lads have twice sold out the city’s 280-capacity Arts Centre
in the space of 12 months; twice headlined in front of almost twice that number at
the city’s prestigious Waterfront venue, as well as playing support slots with current Radio One favourites One Night Only, and indie
legends Inspiral Carpets and The Bluetones. Having built a big reputation and
following on their local scene, Lot 55 set off in February in a bid to convert
the rest of the country. Debut single ’My Time’, a perfect slice of dynamic
three-minute guitar pop which showcases the band’s unique blend of American
rock and Britpop influences, was released on All Sorted!?! Records on
March 3, 2008, backed by a tour which will saw the band visit venues from
Edinburgh to Reading before returning home for another headline show at
The Waterfront. With the band beginning to make waves on the London scene, with successful gigs at well-known venues such as the Water Rats, and with their loyal fanbase in their home city continuing to grow, 2008 could be Lot 55's year.
"They may be unsigned but that sounds as good as anything else I've played tonight" - Clint Boon, XFM Manchester & Inspiral Carpets
"Lot 55, what can one say about how they have grown and matured over the last eighteen months. 2007 saw them really grow as a live act and they deserve all the plaudits they get. Having the balls to book a premier venue a week into the new year, the sell out crowd fully vindicated the decision...Lot 55 will be big news in 2008. In fact they already look ready for the bigger stage. With the right promotion I see them as the next big thing to come out of this fine city" - www.rocksellout.com review
"Lot 55 have a sound big enough to fill stadiums My Time mixes the very best of americana and brit pop to create an almost faultless three minute pop song jangly guitars driven along by a really strong vocal. These boys are polished but edgy" - The Horn magazine
"Lot 55 give out a lot of energy, almost every song powered along tight melodic grooves with strong vocal harmonies, while the nimble bass work kept the back line interesting...they take their influences in a positive direction and really do drive along it" - NO MUSIC review

My New Book: Butterfly Tai Chi: Health, Energy and Tranquility in 10 Minutes a Day
Description
The author was inspired by observing butterflies to develop a system of Tai Chi that could be performed in a limited space and within a relatively short time. He designed Tai Chi movements that naturally enhance the Qi flow in the order directed by Chinese medicine and whilst it can be used to treat a wide variety of illnesses, its real power is in preventing illness. Succinct and effective the reader can learn this form of Tai Chi within a day and can be performed anywhere -no matter how little space available.

Milloy - The best UK melodic punk rock band right now. From Wakefield, these guys burn with melodic ferocity. I last saw them supporting Samiam and The Draft and they blew me away. An absolutely amazing band. http://www.myspace.com/milloy
