Pickin in the Pines is coming up September 18th-20th, 2008. Tickets are on sale now! Saturday, September 20th features Thomas Michael Riley, Mike Blakely, Claude "Butch" Morgan, and Bob "Zen Bubba" Williford. Friday night, September 19th, performers include T & C Miller, Russell Caldwell, Lou Ann and John Petty, David Byboth, Jim Bush and Rob Doan. Thursday night, September 18th is open mic night; ticket holders can sign up and perform on the Pickin in the Pines stage. Advance tickets are $25 and will be on sale until noon on September 17th. $30 tickets at the gate. Camping is $5 per person per night. Call 903-857-2253 for tickets. Credit and debit cards accepted. NO REFUNDS. BYOB. Ice for sale on site. Electricity available on a first come first serve basis.

Hey Lou Ann, say "hello" to everybody at Pickin in the Pines for me. I'll be at The Walnut Valley Festival. Hope to cross pathe with you soon. Ill be in Luckenbach the weekend of Oct 16th and again Thanksgiving week.

A week and a half to go until Winfield!!!! Greatest festival on the planet. It will be so good to see friends again and get to play music 24/7 for a solid week!!

Here's a clip of my friend Stephen Bennett playing a beautiful song he composed several years ago "I Knew It Was You." Its so beautiful and I have learned it and am including in my sets now.

Hey there Lou Ann

"Slow" is my wireless connection. Its like going back to 14.4 modem days....except....I can slowly access anywhere I have a cell gsm connection. I'm in Colorado on a mountaintop around 10,000 ft elevation. Ill be here about another week. I decided to forego Texas heat until fall when it cools down. How's it going? Are you guys playing much? I hope to see yall again somewhere soon. I wont be at Pickin in the Pines this fall because it conflicts with my http://www. wvfest. com that I go to every year I can. My plan is to move back to Colorado as soon as I can. take care of yourself...oh, and thank that hubby of yours again for everything he's done for all of us :))
