ABOUT LOUDBARK

The Loudbark Company was started with a single idea, if timber has been used for centuries to enhance the sound of musical instruments such as guitar, violin, cello, double bass, flute, recorder, pan pipes, didjeridoo and various kinds of drums, why can't it be used to make a microphone that enhances the sound of the harmonica? So we went to work with the materials that we love, Australian Timbers. These include the very rare Jarrah from South Western Australia and our favourite timber for Mics, Australian Cypress from Northern Victoria.

OUR MICROPHONES

Loudbark is an Australian Company that manufactures microphones from Australian timbers. Timbers are chosen for both their physical beauty and their acoustic properties. We design the mic bodies and element cavity which combined, have maximum impact on the sound while drastically reducing feedback. Loudbark Mics also work well with Saxophones and Trumpets and are even great for Vocal Effects.

RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE $194.95 FEATURES OF THE MIC INCLUDE:

* A quality dynamic element

* A standard 3 pin XLR (Cannon) connector.

* It is approximately 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inch in diameter.

* It has been designed to drastically reduce feedback.

* It has enough grunt to drive either a guitar amp or a PA using standard leads.

* It is extremely light in weight

* It comes with a FREE Modified Mic Clip & a FREE Protective Pouch

    You need to check out the new Victoria "Blowbox" Harp amp! I was instrumental in designing and getting into their line of top shelf amps. Go to youtube and search me "James Reeser" and there are a couple of recent vids featuring it.

    It is a 45 watt 2X8 amp. It looks like a tweed head but yes it has 2 8" speakers in it. No one can believe such a fat rich tone comes from a little amp. It is versatile... light weight... It can be plugged into any speaker cab as it has 2, 4 and 8 ohm output taps. It also has a switch that makes it either a stock 59 Bassman if that is your tone (also for guitar if desired) or flip the switch for the harp special circuits and rich fat harp tone! And yes has plenty of power as a stand alone to keep up with just about any band.

    Jeannie Lushes and a host of Melbourne bands have raised over $19,000 dollars so far for the red cross bushfire fund with a series of pub benefit gigs around Melbourne. Participating venues were Nighthawks Blues Bar at Mentone, Westernport Hotel at San Remo, Groovers Lounge at Frankston, Greyhound Hotel in St Kilda, Clifton Hill Hotel in Clifton Hill, Young and Jackson in Melbourne and the final gig in the festival at The Heritage in Epping on Sunday the 22nd March. I opted to support this effort before it got underway being deeply moved by the tragic fires that have claimed so many leaving us feeling helpless and wanting to assist. I and my family will be bringing our PA and backline from the Hunter Valley in NSW to support this final show. It will be a pleasure to support such a great effort by Jeannie and we congratulate her, the musicians and venues on such a mammoth effort. Having contact with some of the affected people the healing process is slowly progressing. Maintaining the momentum of support to those who have lost all is a focus that will no doubt be maintained as we help raise the flag to full mast for those affected in any way we can.
