The 1st issue of LOUD came out in June 1994 and it's been issued monthly for 12 years in 2006 introducing club culture and radical music. LOUD is known as a pioneer magazine in Japan to cover club culture and specialized in showcasing the latest sound of today. LOUD featured first in Japan the artists such as Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim before anyone else. In recent years the magazine also pick up many of rock artists and was the first magazine in Japan to feature Franz Ferdinand on the cover.
