Traditional rock music with a line up of Vibraphone, Xylophone, Marimba and lots of percussion, 2 Guitars, Bass, Drumkit + SPD 20 2 Keyboards, Trumpet, Sax and Vocals.
It's a big band with a big sound featuring over 20 players.
We don't know if there is anything quite like us in the country as our music is such an unusual blend of instruments.
Still we are big crowd pleasers and we go down really well wherever we play or whoever we perform for.
Loud n Proud started off as a music project over 5 years ago. Our aim is to provide a youth activity through music that will promote the growth and development of specific life skills that will enable young people to grow into responsible young adults.
To that end we concentrate mainly on the styles and types of music that is not readily available through normal musical channels.
At the moment we have a Tuned Percussion Group, Streatbeat Drum Group, an ensemble featuring Brass, Saxophone, Percussion and we also run a School of Rock.
We perform in many different shapes and sizes to suit the occasion, the best fun is when it all comes together in a 20 piece Rock Band. The age range is from 8 to 19 and the average age is about 13.
