Band MembersBand members include myself (Louise) I produce some of the music myself and I also collaborate with musicians/producers. People I have collaborated with include Producer Spied (Germany) who made music for Message-less Bottle, Jinadu for Windmills Turned Lighthouses, Simon Stevenson produced music for untold and DJ Ross the Red was involved in En-wronged. I have also worked with DJ looped Exodus from Holland and Space Fruit who did music for the Art of High Flying. I have also collaborated with guitarist Nev for live acoustic stuff. I am really interested in collaborating with music producers or live musicians so please get in touch if you want to work together or try something out. I produced the music myself for Mean and Unpleasant Land and Tainted Fairy Tales.
InfluencesAm into varied music, I especially appreciate socially conscious and spiritually uplifting lyrics. Poetry Influences-Ursula Rucker, Ani DiFranco, Saul Williams, Gil Scott-Heron, Zack de la Rocha, Music- Lamb, Faithless, LTJ Bukem, Nitin Sawhney, DJ Krust , Badmarsh & Shri, Portishead, Massive Attack, Leftfield, I also like world music, and acoustic folk. Afro Celt Sound system, Bano De Gaia, Asian Dub Foundation, 4hero, Bob Dylan, Beastie Boys, Roots Manuva. I am spiritually and philosophically inspired by writings of Hermit Monk and Poet Activist Thomas Merton.
Sounds LikeI am only just starting to find my way in mix-ing spoken word with music. I don’t want to pin it down too much but want to experiment with how sounds and words combine. I like reflective electronica with ambient soundscapes, electronic acoustic and Drum n Bass when not too aggressive. I also appreciate the rhythm and energy of conscious MCs.

Hi, LouD Speka Everything well? I’m here with a new about my work. It’s the releasing of a remix I produced this summer for Future Shock Records. The track is featured by the female singer Birgit (an incredible voice, for my taste) and it has been a great honour for me to get the chance to work with this Estonian singer. In this case I’m presenting commercial dance music, not trance or electro-trance so I guess it’s an easy listening. Anyway, you have the right word. If you are interested in getting this remix for radio shows or whatever, please, don’t hesitate to contact me. Kind regards and much respect from me.

Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.
