In 2006 alone, Louie managed to be a finalist on TWO top reality shows (CBS Rockstar: Supernova, ABC The One), released a full length CD which met industry acclaim, performed and got a standing ovation at the Apollo Theater all while maintaining his Northeast roots in the Commonwealth he calls home. In addition to the dynamic stage presence which has been revered in the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, Comcast’s Backstage with Barry Nolan and many other media outlets, Louie spends a great deal of time writing for other artists. You may find the work of Louie Bello as part of creative collaborations with pop artist Rich Cronin (LFO, Sureshot), Aubrey O’Day (Danity Kane), Malik Williams (Liptunes Music) and Susana (Universal Recording Artist).
And, if you aren’t catching Louie in the spotlight for his music, you might find him on or near his second love, the screen. Most recently he starred in and wrote the Indie film, Dirty Crimes with Business Partner Billy Dufresne and co-starring Slaine(Gone Baby Gone), Dickie Skinz (Brotherhood) and Dre Robinson(Universal Records), directed by Joe Politics(Ne-Yo). Also this year, Louie and Billy starred and wrote TV Pilot My Family Business co-starring Nick Varano, Vincent Pastore(Soprano's), Aubrey Oday(Danity Kane), John Fiore(Law and Order) and Rich Cronin(LFO, Sureshot), directed by Gianni Calabretti and Produced by Jeff Kalligheri (Dolce Vita Productions).
2008 will prove to be even more explosive for Louie and for all those who love his work. Stay tuned for his follow up to the debut CD slated for release this Spring!
