About Louie O'Grady

Louie O'Grady (1986, Birmingham, England) is a composer and improviser currently studying composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music, Cardiff, Wales. He started playing guitar in his early teenage years and has continued his study up to present. Since settling in Cardiff he has been active in the improvising community and established the Improvising String Group with Ashley John-Long & Jimmy Ottley. His recent focus lies with improvisation trio: People at the service of things. (with Taina Niemela on piano & Ody Constantinou on electronics.)
