I love studying the art and philosophy of healing through naturopathic wholistic nutrition, and detoxification processes. Especially finding new ways of applying it for
creating VIBRANT Health on all levels - through 'activating the healer within' which exists for each person;
I'm passionate about Living on 'Live' Foods (100% raw whenever possible);
Learning new skills and new recipes around Raw Gourmet Foods and Raw Chef Training, as courses and classes;
I adore the Buddhist philosophy by Nichiren Daishonin (expounded in the 13th century). Which is about
honouring the fundamental Mystic Law of Life in the Universe, and putting myself in rhythm with it through my daily practice chanting meditation of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo; I like
observing and working with The Law Of Attraction in my own life, (the law which give you more of what you focus on and more of what you give your attention to, like a powerful impartial magnet drawing more of same unto you. So be careful what you think about, since your thoughts have the ability to make it come about as if that is what you're wanting). Other interests include

What I'm Currently Doing? -
At present I am just out of rehearsals for the tour of the production 'Yellow Doctress', which will perform around Leeds for 2 months, and also stage at The West Yorkshire Playhouse in May 2008. An incredible one-woman play about the incredible life of Mary Seacole. Mary Seacole was the Jamaican nurse and pioneer of the Crimean War who historically, people choose to forget about after her death - and in light of the publicity and piority given to Florence Nightingale's work in society of the same time. Born 1805 - 188I. Mary shows amazing confidence and sense of purpose at a time when black people were still enslaved and women had no right to vote, and when 'respectable women' travelling alone did not go without disapproval. She is a great musesum piece of living history and feminine fire. I think that she has alot to teach us today.
I am a professional Actress in Theatre Film & Television. This is my second opportunity to bring the character of Mary Seacole alive, to touch the lives of people today as she did on the battle fields, when treating the soldiers, often under direct gunfire. NOT WITHOUT FORGETTING - I support the SGI-UK movement for advancing world peace (in society and in the individual). The process is called Kosen-Rufu, which is creating a humanistic society based on establishing the culture of 'respect for the dignity of life that exists in all people'. This process occur by revealing our innate Buddhahood through chanting the daimoku - the phase Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. The chanting brings about a gradual human revolution in people, a positive, organic and gradual transformation of character from the depths of ones' life. The principles are based on Nichiren Buddhism, and have been made wonderfully accessible through the work of Daisaku Ikeda, (the President of SGI - society of the ordinary members who practice it). "Devotion to the Mystic Law means breaking through your lesser self, the small you that has been driven and hounded by all kinds of petty, selfish wants and desires.
