Okay, I may play "Peace Music" most of the time, but sometimes I have to do something entirely different, and this was one of those times. Swingin' some standards at the Chicago Merchandise Mart Chill Event.

Louis Landon has played classical music for Mikhail Baryshnikov and Latin music with "Pucho and his Latin Soul Brothers" on national and international tours, pop music with Rupert "Pina Colada Song" Holmes on television and national tours, rock with John Hall, opening for "Little Feat" on national tours and has written and produced music for film, video, and commercials, including three years of "best plays" and "bloopers" commercials for the National Basketball Association.

Louis Landon's personal mission in life is to create a peaceful world by writing, recording, and performing music from the heart.
To further his efforts as a peacekeeper and one man making a difference, on June 2, 2008 Landon began recording and posting solo piano Improvs for Peace. He intends to continue doing Improvs for Peace until the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are over. Landon posts free downloads of the Improvs on his website: http://www.louislandon.com. As of June 4, 2009, 109 Improvs have been created, over 9 hours of music! Improvs for Peace support Landon's fervent notion that music can bring peace to the world.
