about Louisville is for lovers: an annual compilation of louisville bands playing love songs and is released in febuary.
the first one was released in 2001 and we are compiling our 9th! each volume is pressed in editions of 500 and hand packaged and individually numbered. over the years we have worked many types of artists including: my morning jacket, bonnie "prince" billy,elliott, starkiller, ronnie mack, papa m, pajo, jason loenstien, shipping news, lucky pineapple, the phantom family halo, the slow break, ultapulverize, love jones, joe manning, and many more. untill now this compilation was only avialable in louisville for about one month a year. but now we have made most volumes avialable for everyone on our site www.louisvilleisforlovers.com
