robin	Jul 3 2008 10:52 AM Hey! I'm starting a "bike gang" called "Aaaaaaa!!!!" It involves riding around in a (big) group and screaming at the top of our lungs at random occasions such as being passed by a car, seeing a pedestrian, seeing other cyclists, etc.. At some point we'll have patches silk screened with "The Scream" (the painting). Weee! That's the extent of it. If you're interested, I'm thinking of trying to launch a ride from the top of the Culture Dome parking lot (Tattered Cover, Twist & Shout, Neighborhood Flix, etc) on Colfax and Elizabeth this Saturday, the 5th at "closing time" (11 p.m.) Screaming our way down a parking garage is fun, but not if we actually freak out nice ol' ladies. Please write me if you're interested! (that goes for everyone) <3

J. Edward	May 10 2008 4:41 PM Audition Notice Denver's Dangerous Theatre announces auditions for "Second Weekend in September." Dangerous Theatre is looking for 2 male actors for the world premiere of San Francisco playwright Andy Black's newest play "Second Weekend in September." Needed are two male actors to play the parts of Michael and Michael Jr. The actor playing Michael needs to able to play the character from age 3o to 55 as a businessman. This is a lead character. The part of Michael Jr. is minor and the actor needs to be in his mid 30's and look a little rough around the edges. The story: Michael is married with two children and travels to a business conference every year over the second weekend in September. The play begins in 1982 when Michael takes 18 year old David back to his hotel room for a tryst. They then agree to meet at the same hotel every year; with the agreement they never contact one another through the year. The play then follows their relationship over the next 25 years. In the final scene Michael's son arrives in Michael's place. The part of David has been cast. The part of Michael requires nudity and cigarette smoking. The part of Michael Jr. does not require nudity. The play will run at Denver's Dangerous Theatre, 2620 W. 2nd Ave. Denver 80219, from September 12th- thru October 12th, 2008. These are paid positions - actors will receive a % of the door. Auditions will be held by appointment only from May 18th thru June 8th. First read thru will start at the end of June and full rehearsals begin in August. Actors are asked to have a prepared serious monologue as well as be prepared to read from the script.
