LoungeClash is the collaboration between Neil Sparkes (Temple of Sound/Ex TransGlobal Underground) and Sam Dodson (Loop Guru/Slipper/The Transmitters) , presenting a lush combination of 21st Century Lounge and Exotica programming and organic Latin Percussion
Dub Bass-lines with a twist of Jazz saxophones, Theremins and Hammond organs, a truly delicious coctail for electronic music hipsters, lounge freaks and world music explorers getting lost somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle and finding God in the shape of Slim Gaillard!
"Dread Time Story" (Warlock Records/Sony Red Distr) is due for release in USA on Feb 19th 2008. The debut by this UK based duo is a truly Lounge-Tastic blend of Exotica, Electronica, Afro-Cuban percussion and Dub dance rhythms .
The duo were brought together by their passion to combine Exotica sounds with truly Technicolor images and to merge electronic and acoustic music in a Dub Style.
They built on their World music, dub, and Latino hip-hop influenced productions by adding a cocktail of live congas and percussion with Dub reggae basses, hip Hammonds, Theremins and smoking Saxophones, the musical result being a distinctive and unique journey through late night Lounge bars and Tropical Tiki paradise.
