“We have brought our garbage and our wars and our racism to every part of the world. We must begin to clean her up, and that means cleaning up our own hearts and minds first, because they led us to poison our dear planet. -Michael Jackson

About me: "Rock N Roll Princess"...this is the perfect slogan to describe myself. At first glance, I don't look like much of a rebel. In fact, I am a self-described "girlie girl". I have a bubbly demeanor; always laughing, giggling. I am into the latest fashions, hair and makeup. I occasionally browse through the latest issue of Cosmopolitan while eating chocolate and watching a good tear-jerking chick flick. However, dig a little deeper and you will find a much more complex, interesting woman. A woman who is passionate about many things: politics, animals, relationships...etc. One of my biggest passions is Rock N Roll. For some reason, I have always been drawn to it...this "hyper masculine", edgy genre of music. I never really could figure out why i am so fascinated by it. My only explanation (besides the fact that it is just damn good music) is the fact that it provides me with an escape. While I feel the rugged bass lines, searing guitars, and pounding drums running through my veins, I am tough and confident. I have the strength to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. No matter what changes may occur, the music is the constant in my life. It never goes away...
This page is a tribute to all of my rock n roll
heroes: past, present, and future.
Who I'd like to meet: The members of my favorite band Rush, Michael Moore, Bill Maher...Gosh!! I know there are so many more people! I am just drawing a blank. I will add later!
HERE IT IS!! THE TIMBERLAKE/SAMBERG SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE TRILOGY!!!
Hey Leslie, You okay? Been awfully quiet. When you have time I'd like to talk to you about something. Kinda like what you first talked to me about way back when..
If it were only this easy for people to hear us and SEE us before they judge us. MJ said it best!
"There's Nothing That Can't Be Done If We Raise Our Voice As ONE" ~MJ How is our best MJ researcher and artist doing? I'm sooooooooo proud of you!

I love that quote! I want so much to learn more about him as I have the time. I DO know his heart already tho.
I am astounded by your writing about him and by your art. What an honor to be on the MJJ art page. I think this is all just the very beginning for you with MJ. You do MJ great justice and I believe will continue to.

Those are amazing drawings Leslie. I am glad that you can put some of your emotion about MJ, not only into your 'book' but into art. I am impressed with all your talent.
Thats very kind and perceptive of you to know how hard it is to send out comments when not feeling quite up to it. It's going to be an honor watching you 'grow up'. You are a rare and unique human being, being human.
My head has kinda been in the sand with stuff as you know. have you heard anything 'official' about MJ having PTSD yet?
Thank you for being such a good to me friend while I do feel *just* like this and I am still not quite myself yet.
For those of you that are new friends, and as my 'regular' friends know, I am SO not normally like this. Please forgive me. I hope I haven't let you down.
Thinking of you Leslie, Hope your recovering! Have a Great Weekend! (((hugsssssssss))) You *ARE* Loved :) ♥ Joanne ♥
Ok folks... THIS IS IT is not an unreleased song! It was written by Michael Jackson and Paul Anka for Safire. Background vocals by Brian McKnight. Released in 1991. The album was called "I Wasn't Born yesterday"! You can listen to it on YouTube... then listen to the 40 seconds of THIS IS IT by Michael, which is going to be released tomorrow. His voice is simply beautiful... but I am beginning to wonder if $ony thinks WE WERE BORN YESTERDAY! Love you Michael xxx
I was scared, really scared to post this but I guess Michael was scared so many times in his life too. Still, he did what he felt was right and that is why I'm doing the same. I've been in touch with the people behind the THIS IS NOT IT campagne and they are desperate to see justice being done! OMG... I need to digest this... and I wish for everybody to see that these girls are trying to do the one decent thing... to show the world Michael was NOT ok and that till the bitter end, Michael was being used and sucked dry and KILLED in the end! May God forgive us this incredible sin! HE did right calling Michael home! Amen!
We need your help. If enough people participate, there will be an amazing interactive portrait of Michael Jackson created by celebrity artist David Ilan. It is free and very cool. Please vote "yes" and spread the word.
MICHAEL JACKSON FANS! Please read this! Help us out!
Please forward this letter!
Hi guys!
Below is a letter which Samantha Moodley is writing to Diane Dimond's publisher. I encourage you all to write a similar letter and send it to the two addresses also listed below. We will also all be writing letters to the major bookstores saying we will no longer buy books from them if they sell books trashing MJ.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is in response to the book entitled "Be Careful Who You Love" by Diane Dimond and is published by your company.
I am deeply concerned about the rather biased and inaccurate portrayal of the information presented in the aforementioned publication as it is in violation of the Code of Ethics as stipulated by various journalism organizations which stress objectivity, fairness and accuracy as far as 'journalistic integrity' is concerned and this book fails dismally on all three levels.
I'm utterly disgusted by the fact that a company of your stature would choose to publish a book that promotes 'yellow journalism' in the highest degree and thus,is misleading to the public at large.Furthermore, the "credibility" of the journalist is questionable given her "one sided" perspective which is evident throughout the book and hence, the failure to take into the account the actual facts of what happened from the point of view of both Mr Jackson and the accusers. Also,it is beyond me as to how this book could have been published in the first place given that it has been so poorly edited, that it makes it even harder to take Diane Dimond seriously as a reporter let alone an author due to the persistent repetition of certain facts (like mentioning that Adrian McManus was Jackson's personal chambermaid three times in less than two pages even after mentioning her previously in the book) as well as random spots with misspelled words or improp
We Had Him, that was written by Dr. Maya Angelou in
tribute to the late Michael Jackson. We Had Him
Beloveds, now we know that we know nothing, now that
our bright and shining star can slip away from our fingertips like a
puff of summer wind. Without notice, our dear love can
escape our doting embrace. Sing our songs among the stars and walk our
dances across the face of the moon. In the instant that
Michael is gone, we know nothing. No clocks can tell time. No oceans
can rush our tides with the abrupt absence of our treasure. Though we are many, each of us is achingly alone, piercingly
alone. Only when we confess our confusion can we remember
that he was a gift to us and we did have him. He came to us
from the creator, trailing creativity in abundance. Despite
the anguish, his life was sheathed in mother love, family love, and
survived and did more than that. He thrived with passion and
compassion, humor and style. We had him whether we know who he was or
did not know, he was ours and we were his. We had him,
beautiful, delighting our eyes. His hat, aslant over his
brow, and took a pose on his toes for all of us. And we
laughed and stomped our feet for him. We were enchanted with
his passion because he held nothing. He gave us all he had been
given. Today in Tokyo, beneath the Eiffel Tower, in Ghana’s
Black Star Square. In Johannesburg and Pittsburgh, in
Birmingham, Alabama, and Birmingham, England We are missing
Michael. But we do know we had him, and we are the
world.
