    sorry for the enormous comment...

This month's CFB is a (rather belated) single launch party for the awesome goFASTER>>! here's some stuff people have said about them....

“Imagine what Arctic Monkeys would sound like if they spent as much time on their tunes as they did their lyrics.” – Clickmusic.com

"the most exciting new band to emerge from Liverpool in 2006" - Gigwise.com

"enough musicianship and wit to excite even well-exercised lugholes. We predict goFASTER>> will goFAR>>" - Fly Magazine

"one of the best, spine-chillingly brilliant pop bands we've had the pleasure of hearing in ages" - Neu Magazine

"When I first heard 'You better watch out", I splegged all over myself..." - Graeme from arms

Supporting them will be Selby town hall battle of the bands winners, the fabulous No Drinks On the Dance Floor and we'll be spinning some tunes (on our brand new decks :D) all the usual stuff as well as some songs by less well known bands we proper bum

oh and goFASTER>>'s super limited 7" 'She starts monday' will be on sale at the gig along with various sexual favours from both us and the bands. :) hooray!

About me:

.... ..THE TRIPOD..

Started when we met our #1 fan at the legendery Pocklington Rugby Sevens (yearly piss up)!! Out on a all day session from 11.30 till kick out time, along the way we met a ramdom guy and told him that we were a band called The Tripod (everyone lies when they're drunk right!?). He then wents nuts shouting "tripod, tripod, tripod" (see our video to see the reaction). Before this we pretty much just jammed together but after his outburst we felt as tho we should call ourselves The Tripod just so that he efforts weren't in vein!!
