Together as a full band since fall of 2004, playing politically influenced rock. It started off with drummer, Brandon Kuntz, and guitarist, John Leingang, in the summer of 2004 coming up with some ideas, until vocalist Ben Patrie was added after practicing with John on the side. Still without a bass player, they found out that a friend of theirs, Ben Aull, played bass. He joined the band that October and they started out as Rise and Revolt and played their first show on the capitol steps in Bismarck just days before the 2004 Presidential Election. The reason was to support 3rd party candidates and bring to attention that you do not "have" to vote Republican or Democrat. After a few more shows, they ended up changing their name to Love & Warfare and are now the band you can see today.
