The Love Buzzards were born in 2006 over a beer in the soon to be famous Shari's Chippewa Club in downtown Durand, WI. Tim Caswell, Kevin Hardage, Richie Sickels, and Dan Callan were having a friendly discussion, while of course drinking a few brewski's, and had the idea to again host a monthly blues jam in Durand (we used to host a jam at another club until we all became to busy to do so on a regular basis). Shari and Rob, owners of Shari's Chippewa Club, offered their newly enlarged bar to us as the venue for the new jam, and the four of us accepted. Hence, on the second Sunday of every month (unless noted as different on the calendar), we host our open blues jam. We hope you will come to one of our jams, either to sit in, or to listen to the blues. The Love Buzzards periodically venture out of town for a gig or two, as long as it fits into our busy schedules (we all have other gigs)!

Thanks for the add!! We play at Mick’s Bar Saturday 3/15. We are not from the area (Eau Claire) and we thought we would introduce ourselves to some people from around Durand and invite them out. Hope to see you!!
