With over 10 years of professional music experience CAMI returns to St. Louis, MO with an indescribable amount of talent. Born and raised in St. Louis CAMI was introduced to singing at Good Hope M.B. Church in their youth choir where she began to learn the love of music. At the age of 11 she began playing the saxophone and also studied different genres of music, which brought her at the age of 13 to study piano. With piano being her primary instrument, CAMI began to build a strong repertoire by participating in different choir workshops and organizations to learn new styles of playing and teaching music.
With a noticeable talent CAMI went to study Audio Engineering at the Art Institute of Atlanta where she began to construct relationships with different musicians, artists and engineers. She also performed with bands and created an indissoluble support system while working with several of Atlanta’s businesses in the music scene including: 7 Stages Theatre, WRFG 89.3 FM, Clearwater Entertainment, Atlanta Filmworks, Lantawood TV, Common Cause Productions, Xopher Media, Bleu Kiss Entertainment Group, Cable Channel 26 Hustle Hard TV, Arcadia Production Studios, Orange Room Studios, Lion’s Share Music Group, Beal Street Entertainment, and Bottom Boy Entertainment.
With a new sound of acoustic & alternative soul you can now find CAMI performing in and around the city of Atlanta learning to tell her stories through her music. She is determined to make the world understand her love for life through the creativity of her songs.
