i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

This is who makes me anything and everything that I am... :)
"Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
~The Velveteen Rabbit
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!"
~Rudyard Kipling "If"
"We are all worth infinitely more than the sum of what we do, what we say about ourselves, and even what we like."

I'm goofy yet serious crazy yet calm confident yet insecure blunt yet diplomatic introverted yet extroverted ....but most importantly... I am a 23 year old female who is COMPLETELY in love with her Savior and Best Friend, Jesus Christ! :) I love Jesus. I love loving. I love my family. I love my friends. I am very protective of those I love. I am passionate about the Invisible Children and making them visible. I have a heart for Uganda and the rest of Africa. I am a loyal friend. I know what I believe about pretty much everything, but I am openminded and love hearing what others believe and why. I research what I believe. I stand up for what I believe in. I love people who know what they believe and why. I love kids. I love animals. I love all kinds of music and everything to do with it. I am deep. I am an introverted extrovert. I am insightful. I am not judgmental. I am very honest, honest in love. I love poetry. I think poetically. I think constantly. I love everything to do with God's creation. I love to learn. I don't like superficiality. I don't like judgment or being judged. I don't like when I'm misunderstood. I am accepting. I am a huge romantic. I think romantically. I am cheerful. I am optimistic. I am practical. I am not practical at all. I can sometimes be too sensitive. I am informal. I love informality. I love being comfortable and casual. I love comfortable and casual people. I love to smile. I love people who smile a lot. I love meeting new people. I love old friends. I love maraschino cherries. I love food in general. I eat too much. I am fun-loving. I am too talkative sometimes, but am a good listener. I am insecure in some ways but confident in others. I am passionate... about everything. I love passionate people. I can't wait to get married and have kids. I am scared of falling in love. I am extremely affectionate. I love to hug and love on people. I love to cuddle. I believe in saying the nice things you think about people. I compliment people often, but I ALWAYS mean it. I am NOT a flatterer. I am a real person. What you see is what you get with me. I love real people, they are the best kind of people. I am completely complex, yet somehow simple. ... and there is so much more to me. Get to know me. I'd love to get to know you. :)
"Blessed are you, child
When you abandon all you’ve known
To live somewhere else and learn a foreign tongue
When the prayers for yourself don’t last quite as long
For yours is the call from God
Blessed are you, child
When you see orphans play
Speak to them softly and learn more than their names
When you wipe away their tears and with them you pray
For yours are the hands of God
Blessed are you, child
When you return to your things
And your contempt starts burning for all luxuries
When you’d trade it all to have nothing
For yours is the Kingdom of God
Blessed are you, child
When you’re haunted by their eyes
When your soul moans and you can’t describe why
The world you see for the very first time
For yours is the heart of God"
~Michelle Eaton
"There is no safe investment. To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness.
But in that casket---safe, dark, motionless, airless---it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell.
I believe that the most lawless and inordinate loves are less contrary to God's will than a self-invited and self-protective lovelessness... We shall draw nearer to God, not by trying to avoid the sufferings inherent in all loves, but by accepting them and offering them to Him; throwing away all defensive armour. If our hearts need to be broken, and if He chooses this way as a way in which they should break, so be it."
~C.S. Lewis "The Four Loves"

It is almost Mother's Day. This year you can share your love with the women in your life and help the orphans and widows of Kenya and Uganda at the same time. Get a Mother's Day card from Bless the Children and the proceeds go to help the orphans and widows of Africa.
HELLO PLEASE!
I know it's been a good long while, and I'm sorry- but I wanted to check in and see what in the world was going on with you! :)
I got married this summer, moved cities, and played a lot of camps! I am also trying to collect a list of everyone's favorite local Christian Radio Stations... Do you mind messaging me yours? I am trying to send them my CD's to see if in fact, they just MIGHT, play a little indie artist not signed on a major label...
What do you think?
Wanna help?
I would greatly appreciate your kindness: as my grandmother says....
:)
Happy Tuesday Friends!!!
