Sounds Like
"...Next was Love etc., a Japanese pop rock band with a sound that you cannot compare to anything you hear on the radio or see on MTV. Lead singer Yasuyo has a very flowing and powerful voice...[She] had the audience in awe. Pianist Tsubasa was in a word, 'extravagant'. A mix of classical and jazz really makes her playing worth remembering and wanting to hear over and over. This band is one to place on my list of groups I want to see again."

Formed in 2006 by Tsubasa and Yasuyo, Love Etc. combines classical mentality, the warmth of Japanese pop, soulful jazz, ambient sounds and marvelous hooks.
Tsubasa and Yasuyo met in 2004 and began to collaborate on their unique style of music. Currently they continue to write and perform in a variety of venues.
Tsubasa (Piano) began studying classical piano at age 4 in Japan and wrote her first composition at age 5. In 1998 she won a scholarship to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, where she has graduated with honors receiving a diploma in performance. Since 2002 she has been living in New York City.
Yasuyo (Lead Vocals) began singing in a local choir at age 7 and continued singing throughout her teenage years in the choir and in a local pop band. In 2000 she moved to NYC to study and prusue a career in singing. She recently graduated from CUNY, where she majored in Performing Arts and Sound Engineering.
Love Etc. has added two great musicians: Danny Zanker on bass & Yutaka on drums.
Danny has been playing bass for more than 20 years and has since had the honor of playing with thousands of musicians from all over the world. Yutaka, is an accomplished composer and has received several awards for his original works. I have been meditating deep into my soul & realise that music can be helpful at times but also harmful if you are obsess over it.Due to the melodies that triggers emotions ,they bring you back to the past moments & release wild imaginations. I was suppose to come up with a 2nd album in March'09 but i guess i'm gonna leave it till later due to the clowdy music directions we musicians are facing right now.Let's just blame it on the person who creates MP3 format.
I am currently researching deep into sounds that could heal people in all areas of life. *Sounds that will give you energy, vitality, strength, beauty, serenity and happiness...Keep In Touch!!
