LOVEKRAFT was founded in late 2001 by Adrian Thiel and Chris Horn.
The two guyz from Southern Bavaria had to struggle through many line-up changes until they finally found the ideal „accomplices“ for their kind of sound.
The band recorded the first demo, “IT’S TEATIME IN R’LYEH”, in March 2004 and many concerts in Germany and Austria followed.
Soon after this, they released a bootleg DVD filmed by a fan during a club concert.
When Chris had to leave for personal reasons, further line-up changes had to be coped with before LoveKraft released their second demo, “MIDNITE SNACKS”, containing a total of 13 songs.
The concerts from April 2006 on mainly featured new material which was critically acclaimed by fans and friends of LoveKraft. Everyone seemed surprised how much heavier the band sounded – the initial „metal-pop“-style was gone.
On January 1st, 2007, LoveKraft made one step forward and completed the band by a second guitarist, Harry Wieberger.
The music of the band was distributed throughout Europe for the first time, when the newest LoveKraft song, „Kiss The Cutlass“, was released by EMG Europe for their CD-compilation „BestOfTalent“ which was an extra for the scene’s foremost magazine “SOUNDCHECK”.
Despite this success, LoveKraft did not sign with EMG for any further cooperations.
LoveKraft were hired to write and perform music for a new version of the Shakespearian comedy “What You Will” and contributed both their own material and newly composed neo-classical tracks. A radioplay-version of the piece was sold on CD at the theaters – however, the CD only contained “unfinished rehearsal material” and was not authorized by the band.
Due to the big success of the comedy’s premiere, subsequent gigs in Munich were booked in the very same night.



In March 2008 LoveKraft won an online-voting against 308 bands (from 8 countries!!) and, hence, secured their spot on the mainstage of this year’s Summer-Nights-Festival where they played on June 21st, 2008, along with bands, such as Volbeat, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Obituary.
Later that year they were re-booked for the next year's follow-up of the festival, this time sharing the stage (amongst others) with Sodom, Kreator, Satyricon, etc.

IN 2009, LOVEKRAFT INTRODUCE THEIR NEW SINGER AND ARE CURRENTLY PREPARING A LINE OF CONCERTS THEY WILL SHARE WITH THEIR SWEDISH FRIENDS OF "TWINS CREW" IN NOVEMBER THIS YEAR!!

The band is currently writing new material for their next release and will play several OpenAir concerts while the LoveKraft-train keeps running in high gear...
