♥ Love London, Love Your Planet! ♥ Love London Festival 2009 - 4th - 28th JUNE
Love London, Love Your Planet is the largest annual green festival in Europe, probably the largest in the world, with hundreds of events across the capital from small community run events to large green fairs. Events for 2009 will include cutting edge innovations, recycled fashion and art, organic food feasts and much, much more.
These events provide fun days out as well as innovative ways of getting people interested and involved in creating a more sustainable London.
Events are organised by community groups, charities, local authorities, multi-faith groups, NGO’s and local sustainable businesses, in fact anyone can organise an event so long as it focuses in some way on green and sustainable issues and involves the community. Around 300 events are expected this year with an estimated attendance of 500,000.
If you are interested in running an event as part of Love London, Love Your Planet please visit www.lovelondon.org.uk to submit an event. Events can be submitted throughout the year, but those which occur during the festival will benefit from further promotion from us both on and offline.

We're trying to organise at a grass roots level to promote one simple change in legislation that alone would make a huge impact, just 5 minutes from enough people and we could really be responsible for something great!
