Jonny Shiitake has been fucking fired from Lovely. Since he was an integral part of what made Lovely sooooo Lovely, the rest of us have decided to not continue as Lovely. However, the rest of us HAVE decided to continue by starting a new band.
Matt Heartattack has left the drum throne to join me on the dual six-string attack. His recurring shoulder injuries finally put an end to his days as a drummer, but lucky for us, he's an incredible guitarist. His position has been filled by Pillowfight's drummer extraordinaire, Doug Hotstix. Our new singer is Corey Smith, and he's awesome. Check out his artwork on his myspace page. It's incredible. Ellen is still holding down the low end, and I will still be melting your faces with the hot licks. Our new sound is much darker and heavier than Lovely was, and the new songs are AMAZING. We're a little more denim and leather, and a little less velvet and feathers. We'll put up a new band page when we decide on a name and record a couple of demos.
