Back with the same great taste that is always filling and never lets you down, Love Me Electric is taking the Chicago independent rock scene by storm. With six brand new tracks and two old favorites re-recorded to wash it down, their second release, The Sunrise, boasts the thickest punk muscle in town.
To avoid tedious questions that we get a lot, here are some answers
Q: When are you playing in my town next?
A: All our confirmed show dates are on our myspace.
Q: Can I have a FREE shirt or CD?
A: We get this A LOT and the truth behind this is that we cannot give out free stuff. Reason behind that is that we are still doing this on our own, without label support, and doing it for you. Every shirt, cd or any other merch you buy from us, goes right to our band fund, not in our pockets. When it goes into the band fund it goes right back to you in someway (ie: new shirts, traveling to shows, new tunes/records). So please support us!!!
Q: Can I meet you at the show?
A: OF COURSE!… We would love to meet every one of you!
Q: Why didn't you anwser my myspace message?
A: We try to anwser every message we get, but our inbox overflows at times. please try leaving us a comment instead!
Q: How can I book you for a private party/show?
A: E-Mail Frank at Frank.L.Rizzo@gmail.com & he'll get back to you asap.
"Their lyrics do not overflow with pretentious teen-idol rhetoric bullshit (I know you know what I’m talking about), nor are their tires stuck in the muck of cliché. Love Me Electric is the most honest sound I’ve heard in the genre; they don’t bloat their image, they don’t dwell in lame diary-inspired metaphors, and they’re not going attempt to pawn an album full of filler to their listeners. Every single song on The Sunrise is a potential hit, eliminating what seems to be a trend – the non-stop listen and share, then move on to the next flavor of the week." - Scott Irvine, Absolutepunk.net [June 2008]
