We are a jam band who likes to combine elements of rock (both classic and modern), blues, reggae, funk, jazz, folk, hip-hop, progressive, and other sounds into our music. We're the kind of band that you can just relax and chill too, or we can get pretty loud and make you guys get into it too. I guess it depends on where you see us and who we're playing with. GO TO A SHOW AND BE SURPRISED! Then tell us what you think we sound like!
Love Money was started in 2006 and we have learned a lot as musicians (I use that term lightly) since then. We used to play in Lee McAdams' basement. It consisted of him, Kyle Carlson, and Kevin Gaspar. As we jammed with each other (drummer-less) it would last for hours and hours, which must have accumulated to at least a month's worth of jams in total time. Back then we struggled to understand what made a band sound good: Are we good enough? Can we play the best? Do we sound right? etc, etc., and as we've played together and grown as a band we can answer some of those questions with detail that some might not be able to understand. However, even with the addition of Steve Mason (drums) we still have many barriers to break and walls to knock down. As our sound has evolved and we continue to grow with our music. We are discovering exactly how to become the best band that we can possibly be. Whether that means that the best of us is still only comparable to what we're doing now (highly unlikely) or it takes us beyond what we could have ever envisioned, we will put ourselves inside our music as best we can. Love Money stands for jamming, having fun, peace, happiness, and more importantly our connection with the people that we play for.

This band opens up my mind to a new feeling of oneness i can hear the intellect in Kyle's voice the convincing guitar lines everything dances with the amazing music You guys will get somewhere someday. right where you need to be. fuck it steve's gone but you guys still got what the band needs you guys are the ones that are going to make this band go somewhere because I know you can do it you have what it takes you guys are something special
