The name Love Muffin was nickname from my high school soccer team. Don't remember who gave it to me or why it was given to me. In 1994, when I was looking for a label name to release my first full length cassette on, I decided to use it. The label existed on and off for the next 12 years until it was registered as real, legitimate business in January 2006. We now carry CD's by nearly a dozen bands, most of them local to Ohio. In 2007, we started putting on concerts. 2008 saw the ingaural LoveMuffinPalooza concert, and another one is planned for 2009.
