The name Love Muffin was nickname from my high school soccer team. Don't remember who gave it to me or why it was given to me. In 1994, when I was looking for a label name to release my first full length cassette on, I decided to use it. The label existed on and off for the next 12 years until it was registered as real, legitimate business in January 2006. We now carry CD's by nearly a dozen bands, most of them local to Ohio. In 2007, we started putting on concerts and plan to continue that into 2008.

Channel 27 WKBN did a piece on addiciton to conviction.... which ran the day before lead singer Billy Smaltz fought in the toughman contest in Canton. For anyone who didn't get to catch it on the news, we put it up on the www.tilt360.net site with the release of their newest single 'Last String' Now, 'Last String' is the 2nd single released by the band after 'Point Blank' last year. And you can hear the new mix on their myspace site. Our goals in marketing this band is that all their dedicated fans see the actual hard work, raw behind the scenes footage, and hear the dedication heard in each song. So continue to support this band and they will continue to entertain you while keeping their musical integrity intact.
Fans can also go to www.myspace.com/toughmancontest and play 'Point Blank' which is now featured on the their site. Day 11 is coming.....
