The name is longer than what is needed to describe the music. Its Rock N Roll Clasica and Country Western. Driving Music. Highway Music. Feel Good music. Low down music. Hopeful and sometimes filled with despair. Most of all AMERICAN.
If you can - imagine a sound that has Springsteen's drive - Waylon Jennings' boot stompin beat - Johnny Cash's simple but epic guitar pickin - Tom Petty's beautiful ugliness - Mellencamp's main street - Rocky's never ending will - the ease of Don Williams - the rumble of a roaming herd - the wide open eyes of a Pioneer - the soar of an Eagle and the guts of the rubber on the road...you toss in the Red White and Blues - a litte John Wayne Swagger - A bucket of "Get up and Go" and a dash of "lonely highway" and you get a decent glimpse of this music.
I dont like labels so I aint' gonna use em. I didn't like rules in school so I aint' gonna follow any now. I play for Gypsies, Jokers, Rogues and Rebels and the peaceful easy. For everyone. Everyone is welcome and there is at least one song for each individual and the rest of em would invite all of the above to sit down for a nice cold drink or hit the dance floor and just get lost to it together.
I don't pretend and I don't try and do anything I will have to apologize for later. It is honest. It is real and it is here. It is autobiographical to a fault perhaps but that's the way I like my music. Honest and real. You decide if we got something in common - or if perhaps I can take you somewhere you always wanted to go. Thats what music is all about to me. Come and take a ride.
