Demond Toney, known to many as "Da Dreamer," is arousing the music world, stirring up excitement and interest in the hearts of all Hip Hop lovers. Embodying a sound large enough to fill the Phillips Arena, his music is the perfect concoction of rhythmic lyrics, sharp chords, and synthesized ballads.
His song "Summer Breeze," caught the attention and respect of non other than skateboard phonom, Lupe Fiasco. On November 18th, at the haute and trendy Club Motions in Underground Atlanta, The Dreamer opened Lupe Fiasco's show and had fans screaming for more. Earlier that evening, Lupe and Da Dreamer were welcomed in the studio of V-103 FM by Greg Street, and both artists shared their common vices and love for music.
DJ Jamad(with DJ Drama and the Affiliates) is also elated about the track "Spend the Night". The handsome duo are now in the studios prepping the hip hop heads in the 07' with music that will surely be added to the list of classic summer anthems we all adore.His music is reminiscent of the the laid back ballads and street critiquing lyrics of the Grammy Award winning, Outkast. With Stankonia Studios being a second home to Da Dreamer, and Outkast's Andre Benjamin his inspiration and mentor, its refreshing to know that the great feeling of "cruising the ATL music" is creeping back into the scene.
