Love Routine is a 7-piece rock band based out of Charlottesville, Virginia. We play music that rocks. We hope you enjoy hearing it.
A Brief History of Love Routine:
The thing that most closely resembled Love Routine was started longer ago than we'd like to admit by Dylan Fulmer, Ben Elliff, Sam McKiver and Jason Comfort. Dylan and Ben had played together a few times before, and wanted to do something without contrivance, without pretense, and with a whole hell of a lot of good, honest rock music. Playing originally with keyboardist extraordinaire Matt Flynn, who unfortunately (for us) moved to NYC for school, Dylan, Ben and Sam realized that a drummer might be a handy addition to the band, and after a series of lengthy and often exhausting negotiations, got Jason Comfort to sign on to play with them. Jason then begat edog on guitar, the band begat the badass horn section (Matt Blum and Marco Rossi), and the Love Routine you now know and adore was officially on.
Just letting you know we have 2 new events up! Come check them out maybe you would be interested in playing one of them! This year we are taking our events to the next level by adding guitar duels and such.

How do we rock thee? Let us count the ways.
We rock thee to the depth and breadth and height
our souls can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
We rock thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
We rock thee freely, as men strive for Right;
We rock thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
We rock thee with a passion put to use
In our old griefs, and with our childhoods' faith.
We rock thee with a beat we seemed to lose
With our lost picks, --- we rock thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all our lives! --- and, if God choose,
We shall but rock thee better after death.
