THE LOVERS SHOW self-titled debut album is already beginning to win acclaim, with their single, "You Are There" receiving honorable mention in The Durango Song Contest. Recently, they have been heard on Cities 97, seen on Kare 11, WCCO and Twin Cities Live and just opened for Rodrigo Y Gabriela at First Avenue. TLS is also busy in preproduction for their new TV show!
Both marinated in the wombs of opera singers, Jared and Noni have been cultivating their love of music since conception.
Starting young in the business, Jared wrote his first musical composition at age 7 and was seen in commercials and theatre shows. After cutting his teeth in the blues, funk, and soul scene of Minneapolis playing keys, drums, guitars, bass and singing, Jared toured nationally in many theatre productions as a singer/dancer/actor and in bands as a multi-instrumentalist/singer. A true artist who is constantly working his craft, Jared has many secret talents. Most recently, you may have heard him yodeling on a VW commercial.
Noni, a Boston native, started as a nationally ranked gymnast, a singer and piano player then moved into dancing and theatre. A graduate of Gordon College in Beverly, MA she enjoyed all apects of the theatre from Shakespeare to such musicals as A Chorus Line, Cabaret, Sweet Charity and the starring role in Peter Pan!
Jared and Noni's complimentary journeys collided when they toured the world performing in STOMP, "the international percussion sensation!" From Copacabana to the Blue Lagoon, they fell in love whilst banging on odd objects and married shortly after.
Jared and Noni left the road, moved to L.A., started writing and performing their own music together and it is from the reactions of audiences "wowed" by their electrifying performance and the desire to never be apart from each other that has inspired the creation of The Lovers Show! An excited fan calls their music "kick-ass car melodies that just won't quit!"
