for a brief period of time from around late 1998 till around 2000 a group of fellas bonded over the creating and performing of rock music. this group came to be known as Love Scream, and while their time was short, they made some very unique rock music, did a bundle of crazy things, and most importantly, never sold out (mostly because they were never offered a check, EVER).
The rumors that are slowly growing into legends are all true. There was the Buddy Emmy Tribute that went horribly wrong, that Carpet song, hours and hours of rehearsal, the Blindingly inspiring cover of "Eye of the Tiger" at MortiGras, More Songs about the Repoductive Cycle, the Giraffe Street Team, the confused looks on the audience faces as a picture of Gary Busey was held up, the boy band song, the CD release show where the boys took 3 tries to figure out exactly which CD they were releasing, the best radio interview ever, "LoveScream: the Musical", the potential Lobster and Champagne, the Love Scream all male strip Revue, Ouch Mountain, "The Drummer", the 2 run ins with James Taylor, Double Dragon, Dragon Lady, Euro Haus, the Physical Tour, and their last official show which concluded with a game of frisbee golf (and a velcro wall).
Have the boys of Love Scream broken up? After much speculation, I can only conclude that they in fact have not. However it should be noted that the boys of Love Scream have made no effort to do much of anything as a band in regards to practicing together, writing together, recording together, performing together, or even being in the same state together for that matter for some time now.
However they do occasionally get together for "WHOLE" band reunions, play on each others solo recordings from time to time, and still enjoy being able to talk to each other in their own made up language that consists entirely of inside jokes.
it is my hope that Love Scream can vicariously exist through this website, each member adding his own memories/thoughts on the Love Scream world, so you, the viewer can have some insight into that which is Love Scream. Also, as we grow this site you'll hopefully be into checking out what each of the members are up to right now, cause they're all up to some pretty ridiculously genius stuff if I do say so myself, and I do.
