I love to learn about new things. I know a little bit about alot of things. I like to watch documentaries and go to historic places. I love ancient history and spent an entire day just wandering around The British Museum looking at all the antiquities and knew I could spend weeks there and never get bored. I also went to alot of castles while I was in England and seeing some of the artwork firsthand was amazing. While over there I was also lucky enough to visit my family's ancestral castle in Scotland. Talk about cool! I absolutely love travelling. So far I have been on 2 cruises, made it to 6 countries, and about half the US States. Some more frequently than others. I have discovered that B&B's are a much nicer way to stay. I also have very diverse interests when it comes to religion. I have yet to follow blindly. This Penn and Teller sums it up fairly well!!!
Music
SO, I may not look the part, but I am a headbanger at heart!! I love death metal, especially the melodic kind. I go to as many concerts as I can. I have seen and met everyone from Cradle of Filth and Ozzy to King Diamond, Moonspell, Danzig, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Iced Earth, Sepultura, Judas Priest, Type O, Paradise Lost, BLS, and on... I looove the whole evil bad boy look that goes with metal. mmm... dark and evil is just up my alley.. I think Danzig is the sexiest thing that ever walked on a stage.
By the way, for you metal types...here is a cool link... Metal Archives

Movies
I love movies. Not into the sappy romance ones or the romantic comedies. Love horror flicks and scifi movies best. I'm a big Harry Potter fan. Seen all the movies a million times. And a million is probably close to the truth. I know most of the movies word for word. Pathetic I know, but hey when you like something you watch it alot. Oh and I saw 300 at IMAX when it came out too...WHOOOHOO MAMA...that movie - aside from the stunning CGI and great acting - had enough eye candy to give a girl diabetes for YEARS! Gerard was looking quite delicious in that movie...umm...hi hunny!!! You're just as delicious! Alot of movies I'm looking forward to seeing!! I loved Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! No surprise there, tho. I loved the IMAX 3D ending...how cool was that!!
Of course the religious views on Harry crack me right up!!!
Television
Don't watch alot of tv. Mostly because the shows are either disappointingly lame or cancelled after the first season and you're left hanging. Networks might want to take notice of the fact that people HATE IT WHEN YOU CANCEL A SHOW AFTER A SEASON ENDING CLIFFHANGER!!! But I'm not bitter. Much. I watch a few BBC shows, not to be mistaken for the neutered BBC AMERICA shows. Torchwood, Hex, etc would so suck neutered!! I like TLC and the History Channel and stuff like that. I will admit to a secret love of GHOSTHUNTERS, Heroes, House and CSI tho, lol! heh ok, ok...I love Shatner in Boston Legal too. That show is sooo politically incorrect it cracks me up. Happy now? I came out of the closet and admitted to a few prime time shows. HOWEVER! I always burn them and watch them on my computer. That way I can delete the commercials and save the shows. I really do watch all the history and learning channel shows too. I am truly a veritable font of worthless trivia answers. Makes for fun conversations and raised eyebrows. Who knew a blonde could be so smart? ..
Books
If it has vampires in it, I have either read it, am reading it or it is on my list to read. I love paranormal books. LOOOOOOOOVE them. My dad says I'm going to hell because I read them lol. I have hundreds of the little buggers. Probably at least 1000! So many in fact that I've actually had to start a database so I could keep track of what I have so I'd stop buying doubles. Some of my favorite authors are Kelley Armstrong, Sherrilyn Kenyon, MaryJanice Davidson, Rachel Caine, Maggie Shayne, Annette Blair, Katie MacAlister and Jim Butcher,etc.. just to name a few. I have so many it would take forever to name them all. There are a bunch of them in "MY FRIENDS". Check 'em out! I did catch the new tv series on SciFi based on Butcher's books, the ones that I love. The books are definitely so much better. I highly recommend picking them up. Oh and if you grew up anywhere near a cornfield and like scary books and would like to read one that will scare the piss out of you - Pick up one by Dan Simmons called 'Summer of Night'. For all the horror I read, nothing caught me quite like this one did. Really messes with your head, Especially if you grew up anywhere near a small town with a cornfield. I actually had to sleep with the lights on. Pathetic I tell ya!
Heroes
I don't think I really have any individual heroes. I looked at this heading and thought to myself "Do I?". The only thing that comes to mind are the people that devote their lives to helping others. People that campaign for animals, that risk their lives so that others can live, that bring sustenance to a place where there was none. People that spend their lives devoted to bettering the lives of others. Those would be my heroes.
OK, so about moi. I am a teenager trapped in a woman's body lol. I love shopping, going to concerts, travelling and hanging out with the love of my life; one particularly hot Greek studmuffin named Joseph. He's definitely the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm funny, wacky and a pretty cool mom to boot. I am also surprisingly smart. Delightfully so to some and threateningly so to others. Looks can be so deceiving. I am a major supporter of animal rights and support the boycott of Canadian Seafood in an effort to help get the yearly Seal Hunt banned. It's a really horrible thing. I think everyone has a responsibility to take action to prevent cruelty in some way. Sometimes even the smallest actions, when multiplied by a thousand people, make a difference. This is me helping to make my difference!
HSUS MySpace Page
I am so loving life right now with my hunky piece of Greek studmuffin. He makes me smile everyday and and I couldn't find anyone who is more perfect for me.
Who I'd like to meet: Who would I like to meet...hmmm.... past or present? For conversation or other activities? So many different people come to mind under all different kinds of headings. ok..lemme see...I would love to meet Leonardo DaVinci. The man was a genius. I would love to know how his mind worked and would love to have long conversations with him about whatever was on his mind for the day. I would love to have Gerard Butler fall from the sky and land at my feet!!! Yeah I think I could handle that. I could think of a dozen ways to keep myself busy that day. He is just so incredibly handsome and his Scottish accent turns me into complete jelly. Yes, my hunny know all about this falling from the sky fantasy thing. He probably has the same one about Jenna, but I have a pit with sharpened stakes waiting for her..:::insert evil laugh here:::: ok..I would like to meet CoCo Chanel because she was the driving force behind fashion liberation for women. My jeans are my friends... Given time, I could probably give dozens of names of people I'd like to meet. Many, I can assure you, will be historical figures. And maybe one or two more tall dark and drool-worthy honorable mentions. Especially if they are in leather... God Bless Hollywood and their epic movies...
Does anyone read Jorge Garcia's blog?? He plays Hurley on LOST and his blog is a great read!! I am always laughing. I definitely would add him to my list of people I'd like to meet! Warning, once you start reading his blog it is very addictive! Check it out here:
