Love Tacoma supports local musicians of all kinds. From Matt Coughlin and Vicci Martinez to Seaweed and The F*cking Eagles. Tacoma would be nothing without art and music.
Movies
Sure, the film "10 Things I Hate About You" was filmed here, but we here at Love Tacoma also love local films like Limbo created by the legendary Joe Rosati.
Here's another one of our favorites, a hilarious short film that was included in last year's 72 Hour Film Festival at the Grand Cinema, South 5.
Also, don't miss Tacoma artist Daniel Blue's reading of his poem, OK, Tacoma.
Television
We don't watch TV because there's too much to do in Tacoma.
Books
Right now we're diggin on Tacoma author Mark Lindquist's book, King of Methlehem.
Heroes
The amazing local publications that have given us such great love.

We LOVE Love Tacoma. On Thursday December sixth there is going to be a CRAVE party in The Library at 744 Commerce from 4 pm to 8 pm. Hope to see you there!
The McKinley Street Festival is now accepting applicants for our “Drink” Art Bowl Contest.
Artist and community members are invited to design, create and donate art bowls that will wind up being auctioned off as a fundraiser for the Dugan Foundation, www.duganfoundation.org. Woof!
What a great and FUN way to help save pets, and to possibly win awesome Tacoma gift certificates via the juried competition for Best in Show, People’s Choice and Junior Division the day of our festival on Aug. 11.
We really hope you’ll support our awesome festival and consider designing a bowl for this grrreat cause. Meow!
