Self-contained is one way to describe this electro-pop duo from Atlanta, Georgia. Eclectic and pop-friendly is another.
Love Thieves is two women, Adrianne Gonzales and Molly Bancroft, who are both accomplished artists in their own right. Together, these women have bonded in their love for catchy pop melodies, lush textures and innovative arrangements to create songs that are little jewels that will yank you in- and won’t let go without a fight. P.S. You might as well just give in!
As a unit, their songwriting and production chops combine to create a super-duo whose debut 5-song EP already feels timeless. Chock full of ear candy and lush, emotional textures, the songs on this EP hold like glue due to a foundation of classic songwriting and a mastery of writing catchy hooks.
Adrianne and Molly collaborated on all levels, not only from the first note of a melody to the final word of a lyric but from every step of production to the final mix of these tunes. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the sound of spontaneous adventure in the music’s bouncy, ethereal electro sound. With a band name referencing a Depeche Mode song, influences are obvious.
Love Thieves is a promising new duo jumping into the global music scene with an unabashed fresh passion for beats, melodies and a finger on real-world emotions. LOVE THIEVES put their footprint deep into creating music of the future with an explosion of old-fashioned memorable pop melodies along with a fearless approach of sonic exploration. These are songs you’ll want at the forefront of your ipods for a long time.
Each week there will be a new free download, so tell your friends, and come on back. Enjoy the music...

LOVE YOU Love Thieves!! LOVED Adrianne's acoustic rendition of the Thompson Twins "Hold Me Now" at Drew's house concert - I have the original TT record and her slowed-down, guitar-driven version was just awesome! At least as good as the slowed-down version of "Mad World" by Sara Hickman. Love your harmonies, keep up the great work!
