BANG BANG BANG go The Lovin 44s!! Like a bullet to the head this band is electrifying and explosive!! Mixing up country, Southern rock, psychobilly and hard rock to create their very own brand of dirty South outlaw country music. That is what you’ll find on the upcoming debut release of “Get Your Guns.”
Try if you will but you can never duplicate what this band is doing with their music. Dark like Cash, true like Waylon, authentic like Willie, and powerful like Skynyrd. Sometimes referred to as country music’s answer to Guns ‘N’ Roses, the 44s are rippin up the Southland with high energy performances and blistering guitars.
Serving as the official winners of the Bama Jam Battle Of The Bands is just one accomplishment by this rowdy bunch. They have been blessed enough to share the stage with such acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Three Doors Down, Gretchin Wilson, Trace Adkins, Blane Larson, ZZ Top, Blackfoot, and Gov’t Mule. Sometimes they get together with their brothers in Caddle and Blackberry Smoke and burn the place down.
Since signing a recording contract with Widget Records out of Muscle Shoals the 44s are expecting big things to happen. With world wide distribution and FM radio beginning to take notice, it won’t be long before these boys become a household name and everyone who hears them will be taken back to a time when the working man was represented in music and the girls couldn’t keep their panties on. Country music has never been so ignited by the kind of fuel that drives their sound, and though you may never see these boys on the Grand Ole Opry, you can find them at honky tonks and festivals all over the Southeast getting down and dirty in the mud of life and reminding everyone that things are tough all over but nothing can stop you if you look trouble square in the eye and get mean right back. Love em or hate em, but once you get a taste of The Lovin 44s, you won’t forget em!!
